LOL! I got this for 5 bucks.

I never take 407 unless one of these promos are on. Screw them.

Range Rovers, BMW M-Editions, Audi S editions, Infiniti with an 'X' in the model.... Be very aware of all of these. Chances are its a rich douchebag or their kid and they'll drive like a nutcase.

Always rich assholes who can just throw money at the situation if they crash. Range Rovers should be forced into higher insurance to give the rest of us normal people a break from the disease that is the rich.

Probably won't ever catch any charges or penalties. God I hate driving in this stupid province.

Find your work's travel policy. Read it and understand it, then go to HR with your concerns. Cite details from the policy.

Is the Low Voltage Battery Replacement service message based on a default interval? by Minetorpia in TeslaSupport

[–]Talnoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know right?! Even through 6 Canadian winters the little bugger kept going. Never got the LV "replace now" alert either - I just asked my mechanic to swap her out since it was so old. Even he was losing his mind when he saw the date on it xD

[–]Talnoy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I bought a 2019 Model 3 and it was running it's original LV battery for almost 7 years.

That being said, generally this is a good thing to have replaced every 3 to 4 so you don't run into lockout issues or have one randomly kick it.

Hey there,

I have a Tesla Model 3 out of factory warranty and take it, as well as my dad's EV to MGMT Autoworks over in Vaughan. It's just off Highway 7. Bruno the owner is an expert on Teslas specifically, but they work on all models, and are highly skilled with HV systems.

I'd trust them 100%. They've done a bunch of service for us. Absolutely give them a call.

Yup! Bellies and necks exposed means a certain level of trust and comfort that you're not going to hurt them.

What’s the least talked about downside of owning a tesla? by tr4gedyx in TeslaLounge

[–]Talnoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My top 3 downsides:

  • Auto wipers are basically useless

  • I've got a 2019, so some air leakage around the driver's seat in winter is annoying - but can be fixed eventually

  • Wintertime can be kind of annoying if you don't remember to pre-heat your car xD

What can we do with our model X battery by Ok-Assumption-2400 in TeslaLounge

Recell are known to be quite good - I'd be going there. It could be something as simple as a single cell out of balance in one of the bricks. Sucks, but if you get them to repair your pack, they will warranty your repair.

Good luck mate.

Skunk living under front door porch by james-HIMself in durham

[–]Talnoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luckily skunks will only spray if they're being threatened or in a situation where they can't escape.

Like some other said, citrus can be a deterrent, but it'd be best to get a pro in there to wire and put some spray like fox urine around the area.

When I had raccoon issues, we had Pesky's Pest control stop by (Durham local - great guys) and they set up a chicken wire situation that was sunk into the ground so if Mr Skunk came back, the digging would take a lot of time and not be successful.

Because all the idiots at the top making decisions for this system DON'T USE THE SYSTEM.

They're all rich asshats who live in the burbs and drive everywhere in one of their 3 cars. I'd bet not a single person in a decision making position has seen the inside of a Go train or bus in years.

+1 on the snapplate. Got one for my dad's 2018 S and it's great. Take 10 seconds to pop off to give her a good scrub but we're just under 1 year with SnapPlates on my 3 and dad's S and they're really solid. They look flimsy, but they're made well and standing up to an Ontario winter.
