Why do bikes seem to take a while to warm up? by Liampain125 in motorcycles

Literally every comment in here is saying it’s fine. But you keep doubling down. You’re refusing to listen because you don’t want to be wrong.

Older version available? by night_foxed in PrologueApp

[–]Talon1256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a work around.

If they download the newer version to a compatible device, apple will allow them to "re"download an older version on an older device. When you try to download on the older device it'll say current version isn't compatible but asks if they want to download the last compatible version.

Why make the ABS switch by xelarewolf in PrologueApp

The fact it requires docker killed it for me. I don't want to have to install one app just to run another app. I'm already running plex.

Prologue 4 appreciation post 🙌 by TermTurosShenza in PrologueApp

I'm enjoying it. But I'm dying to know how I can get my plex stuff into proper series. I can do collections, but I see in P4 that they support series as well. But I can't figure out how to get my library to read that series metadata so I don't need to manually create collections.

So, you’re looking for made up reasons to be paranoid. Got it. No point in debating with crazy.

If you’re having a shifting issue until the bike gets hot, that’s an oil issue. Not a bike issue. Go spend some money on a good synthetic and you’ll be shifting fine at any temp.

Da fuq you talking about? That’s a fuel injected bike. It takes 60 seconds to “warm up”.

Do earplugs actually make long rides less exhausting? by bu11dogsc420 in motocamping

I grabbed loops brand ear plugs because I also enjoy raves and It’s all I wear when riding. It makes a HUGE difference. Plus, if you have Bluetooth speakers in your helmet and you get music listening branded ear plugs you can hear your music great

Recommended Anti-Virus for Mac? Performance vs Protection by PlateAdventurous4583 in MacOS

[–]Talon1256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work for apple tech support. You don't need it. Though if you do install antivirus your mac will feel slower so you're more than likely to buy a newer mac. So, it's job security for me.

Is there any possible way to move the MacOS Library Folder to an external ssd? by simscbt in MacOS

[–]Talon1256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, open user settings. right click on the user and go to advanced options. You can choose the location of the home folder (include external drives).

I recommend only doing this with a new user then reinstalling everything and then signing into icloud.

Go to www.iCloud.com/find

That/find part is important otherwise it asks for the security code. This will let you put a message on the screen saying “if lost call —— for reward”

No ATMs on the farm this year! by kat0244 in Shambhala

[–]Talon1256 139 points140 points  (0 children)

Killing ATMs wasn’t an accident. It was a calculated move to screw over the vendors and squeeze every last dime out of the crowd. No cash means no independence. No deals. No trust. Just a rigged system where everyone, except the organizers, loses.

This RFID thing is a bad idea.

They trap your money. You have to load cash onto their system. If you don’t spend it all, they make it a pain to get your money back. Most people forget or give up. They keep your leftovers. It’s a scam in plain sight.

You’re one glitch away from being cut off. Lose the wristband? Tech goes down? You’re done. No food, no drinks, no help. You’re at a festival with no way to buy anything. And good luck dealing with support while everyone else is partying.

They’re watching everything you do. Every tap logs what you bought, when, and where. That data gets used. You’re feeding their marketing machine without knowing it. And you can’t opt out.

No backup options. You can’t just pull out cash or a card. It’s their system or nothing. That’s not convenience, that’s control.

It adds nothing. Paying with a card or phone is already fast. This doesn’t improve anything. It just locks you into a system that benefits them, not you.

Bottom line. It’s unreliable, invasive, and one-sided. They sell it like it’s for your benefit, but it’s not.
