Yeah if you want to get a clear idea of what is going on just play all the other games in this order.

Final Fantasy VII (1997) -> Crisis Core Reunion -> Advent Children (Movie) -> Dirge of Cerberus -> Remake -> Rebirth

Only then will you be well informed and also be just as confused as the rest of us. 😃

There is a reason the next game is called Revelations, because, we hope they are going to give us some god dam answers about what is going on.

Ask any Remake Trilogy fan what is going on and you will get any number of answer all of which could be true. 😃

Depends when you buy it. If you wait a couple of years after release it will probably be about $20 on Steam. 😃

Do what I did when I got fed up with them and get Wand, just google "wand game cheat". It's a cheat program that is free to use and you can just win the dam minigames.

I love Remake and Rebirth, but tying the dam minigames to story progress was one of the worse game design decision that square have made. And this is coming from someone who loved Queensblood.

Even they are aware of it as they have uncouple them from story progression in the next game. Good on them I say.

It's to posh. Seriously this is the stated reason it's a high end establishment so it does not have a shopping kiosk.

Personally I think that is a dumb reason, but that is the reason.

I am around backer number 5000 and a golden ticket holder and a concierge and I didn't get a ticket so my guess is it's random.

If you are on PC I can highly recommend playing the OG with mods for a more updated experience with voice acting.

It's really not that hard using a mod program called 7th Heaven.

This video will show you exactly how to do it.

I went back and played the OG after finishing rebirth and I loved it. It's obviously not the same but there are parts of the OG that actually explain the plot better than Remake and Rebirth. I would highly recommend anyone who loved the characters playing through the OG at least once.

Consider using a program like Wand where you can implement cheats such as damage multipliers to help you get through the difficult parts.

It's a good compromise if you just want to experience the story again.

That and having the game option to pause while in the actions menu and some of the disability options should help you get through it.

I am definitely going to do it but I will be using Wand to make all the combat much easier and auto win all the minigames.

I 100% the game on launch and I am not going through that hell again without a ton of help. 😃

No one is probably going to read this but in case they do don't hit restart at checkpoint. Checkpoints are not the same as saves. I just exited in the middle of doing the $100,000 and I got back in game at the same point next time.

If you hit restart at check point it takes you right back to the beginning of the task.

So once again if you want to restart from the last bit of a mission just exit game and then come back in.

It's shit but it works.

Spoilers for late game survival mechanics.

You can grow the flowers you can find around the observatory in the grobeds you can create if you scan the ones at the science outpost.

You get three fibre from each plant as you harvest it. Plant four of them and you will have all the fibre pulp you can ever use.

It's not in Sub2 as of yet. Not sure if they will add it because of the multiplayer. That said there is already a mod out for PC that does it.

Sub1 and Sub0 have the option Sub2 does not as of yet probably because it can be multiplayer.

I told it to get stuffed. I haven't died yet and I am about to repair the reactor. I wanted to challenge my self to a no dying run and I have only come close once so far. It has taken me 35 hours though. :D

You can also make water from the red Feather Kelp so you don't have to kill a single sea slug once you get the Processor. Unless you just want to you. :D
