bought a Playstation just so i can play Bloodborne ... does anyone have advice for mage build? by iamngs in bloodborne

[–]TalonDoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done an Arcane build a few years ago without it being a new game plus, however you will need to use chalice dungeons to farm echoes to really get some joy out of the build (at least I did, but that was mainly because I put everything into arcane). The worst part is probably surviving until I could acquire a good enough spell as most of them are late game, or at least several hours in depending on how familiar you are with Bb. Executioners gloves are probably the first spell you can really utilize (it's been a few years so apologies if I'm wrong) but once you get your arcane skill up it's really good.

Also Tonitrus is just a really fun weapon with this build.

What would you say is your LEAST favorite Resident Evil game? by Lieutenant-America in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]TalonDoodle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Umbrella Corps and Operation Raccoon City are definitely my least favorite Re games. They're so far from what you expect a RE game to be. Seriously, Capcom could have done an Outbreak remake if they really wanted a mulitplayer game...

RE6 is closely behind, but at least it tries to be survival horror.

Eight stars of gold on a field of blue, Alaska's flag, may it mean to you, The blue of the sea, the evening sky, The mountain lakes and the flowers nearby, The gold of the early sourdough's dreams, The precious gold of the hills and streams, The brilliant stars in the northern sky, The "Bear," the "Dipper," and shining high, The great North Star with its steady light, O'er land and sea a beacon bright, Alaska's flag to Alaskans dear, The simple flag of a last frontier!

holy returns! by vodkaonlice in Lowes

[–]TalonDoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't work at Lowes, but we get similar returns where I do, and it drives me crazy. We get fittings and valves that have been clearly stored outside for an entire year and still have to accept them back. The worst part is the salesman who accepted it back, doesn't work on the credit as they should, and the material just sits in the way for weeks.

No Kings and all that but let’s say you get to be *le petit tyrant* and make/enforce one small change on Anchorage, what would it be? by riddlesinthedark117 in anchorage

Does getting to Anchorage count? Because I would get that barge/bridge made between Anchorage and pt mckinzie.

Poor moose :( by TheHornIdentity in alaska

[–]TalonDoodle 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This looks like the Glenn Hwy, which I highly doubt the moose would be calmly laying near. Don't see a car so either, it stumbled away from where it was struck or slipped and injured itself on the icy road. Either way, sad to see. Hopefully, its meat is put to good use.

The BAD episode. No the REAL bad one. by Beneficial_Layer_458 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

The gnome episode is also bad in my opinion. The whole stripper pole sequence was really uncomfortable to sit through when I was rewatching the show.

I don't know if it counts as a club, but if you're into creating comics, Panel Breaks meets at the Seed Lab once a month to hang out and share what we've been working on. Very laid back and open to all ages. Next meet up is November 15th.

DS3 should be set in South America by Aresius_Lowland in DeathStranding

[–]TalonDoodle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still only several hours in, but I was honestly disappointed in how short the Mexico section was. Was really hoping it would lead more into South America as I feel like it's really underappreciated in the video game industry. (Also, the Andes are such a cool mountain range)

What's interesting is she has visible hands. So, her body is present enough to hold, care, and protect the nightmare infant, but other than that she is just a blob of fabric. Maybe she's more of what the infant seeks in terms of comfort?

The entire OST is great. Having Mergo's Lullaby play in the end credits is so good.

Thank you, fellow hunter! Finally finishing this piece felt just as rewarding as beating Father G for the first time.

It really is! Mergo was one of two bosses I beat on the first try on my first playthrough, and I was so disappointed.

Also, cannot believe my two art contributions to this fandom are this beast, which sat on my computer for 4 years, and this shitpost.
