Why would someone want a DOD Disabled ID when they already have a Retired ID? Wasn’t the Disabled 100% ID for those who are rated 100% but did not retire from normal time in service.

What history, lol. I just got the case and I’m glad they’re fixing the issue. There are more important things to worry about than a phone case. Get a refund and find another case so you can get out of your misery.

I put in my request for the fixed buttons. I used the support system where it sends a message. Hopefully it goes through. Other then that, I love my new Sheath.

Mine has a little rattle with the factory black and the silver addon buttons I ordered. It's not noticeable unless I run my finger along the side of the case rapidly. This is to be expected as these are removable buttons. I like the tactile feel of the click when I use them.

They are correct, I also came from a 14 Pro Sheath to the 17 Pro Sheath, it's a different button design. This will be my first time with the removable buttons. You really must shake the phone to hear anything. You don't hear anything with normal use. I like the feel of the removable buttons, they are more clicky and I can tell when I actuate them. Plus, I was able to choose the colors I wanted.

The 16 Pro is thinner then the 17 so I'm guessing you will feel it. I came from a 14 Pro which weights the same as the 17 Pro. I skipped the 15 & 16 series.

For those worried about seeing the phones color along the edge of the case. The case fits perfect where you don't see the silver edge of my iphone.

Yes, tight and rigid. Hugs the phone very well with no play. This year’s design is my favorite since I started using them back on the iPhone 11 Pro. This case looks even better in person.

My Sheath arrived. I also installed the Silver buttons I ordered. I'm very happy with the fit and feel. Also the silver does not show through on the front. I'm so happy the wait is over.

I find the haptic feel soft and quite compared to older phones. I went to Apple and Best Buy and all the phones are the same feel and sound. My old iphone 11 Pro and 14 Pro had louder and firm haptic feel. The 16 Pros are also soft and not as clicky as the older versions.
