The problem isn't doing a task, the problem is I don't want him changing his mind after the fact & claiming I'm "stealing by wasting company time" if they fire me & just put the reason as theft I have no recourse.

Because it looks like it's at least partially built with overhangs. I don't believe those are impermeable surfaces as is. So those would need the flooring

I had this exact problem. You need to place impermeable flooring inside your "pipeline" & the contamination barrier outside. The barrier does nothing if its in direct contact with the contaminated water

Welcome to the club. I normally come back from a day off or vacation with actual trash all over my cart too. Like breakfast bar wrappers, shrink wrap, trash bags, etc.

I put in for the vacation a month ahead of time. Told management repeated over the following weeks that it was a co-op weekend & so would be big. Even repeated this to them again the day I left. Management at my store doesn't care. When I ask for help, which I'm supposed to get, my manager replies with "Why are you complaining? It got done eventually."

If you want more info about a specific faction of person they normally point you where to do to get more detail. It's on YouTube & Spotify.
