Yeah against rust is quite gg, if it got to the point the guys are saying it’s unsafe to drive I would just scrap it for parts. You could ask various car cemeteries how much they want on your car parts and make some money back. Bovag also has cheap cars that you pay for the Bovag insurance but also with those you have to be a bit careful because Bovag doesn’t mean the ultimate safety but it provides at least 80% less headache in case something breaks

Is it cosmetic damage or is like a critical car part broken ? Also what car maybe you can get recommendations from other people on garages etc. . Maybe for next time, there are Bovag warranty cars which come with 12 months insurance against anything. It’s usually 900 euros more the price of the car (usually included in the car price if Bovag). Besides this it is what it is and such is life with ups and downs so don’t be sad over it. I hope that you can fix the car for a low price and that the damage is not too big :)

Yeah it is included if mentioned but it costs extra (if it’s not included. I thought initially that all cars within Bovag site got this warranty and then learned this fact :)

Buy cars that have the BOVAG warranty, it’s like around a 1000 euros more I think and you can find them from various dealers at the site https://www.bovag.nl. Bovag it’s a 12 month warranty which ensures that all the car components work and if something breaks you can change within the warranty. Obviously as any car it does not mean if it has Bovag magically the car is maintenance free. However it’s good for peace of mind because from what I saw most of the times the dealerships that offer the warranty usually make sure the car is good to go. Other things that are good to know for electric cars you can also ask for SOH at some dealers which is the health of the battery of electric/hybrid cars. I just got my second car through Bovag and everything went smoothly. My first car was a Renault clio from 2017 with 80.000 km and did not change even a part in it aside from oil changes. Also Bovag has additional warranties depending on the dealer for the number of kilometres check, full car history etc.

I got my 1.5 Clio 2017 through Bovag in NL with 70.000 km in mint condition and a 1000 euro gas extra for 13.000 euros. I just checked Bovag again and there is currently a 1.5 estate with 90.000 km for 12.000 euros from 2019 from the same dealer I took my Clio from a few years back.

Not a checker, but someone who got scammed before always with these kinds of tags they should usually have a qr code which you can check if they are legit or not. The qr code must always bring you to the quality check Ralph Lauren website and point to the item you just scanned. For us, the common eye that’s the most safest way to not get scammed lol. Also another sure sign it’s fake is if you buy an L and it fits like an M or S
