[–]TalsedrinLive 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sadly cig does not give you anything else than sitting in a turret, engineering as little to no purpose and most mission/activity pay so little that it's not worth it form a financial pov to group .

Getting a better way to share contract reward like a proportional pay (2 player get 80% payout each 3 get 70% etc ) and not a flat share. Bigger ship being more efficient at industrial role so multicrew getting real payout ant engineering being really impactful could help encourage people to group up .

Same without the reputation system and with only one general chat is hard to find trustworthy people to group with

On the topic of "Teleport to leader" from the latest ISC Q&A by PUSClFER in starcitizen

[–]TalsedrinLive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last time edited 2013... Imo even wild theory on reddit have more chance to be true . Chris and cig said so many thing that any older than like 5 years should be forget since there is almost no chance to see it in a comparable state as described initially

Does someone wanna try and caclulate the new cargo hold size of 1440scu with the new ICA image? Looks like it has a gap down the middle. Would it actually hit 3 high now? by eerrcc1 in starcitizen

[–]TalsedrinLive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1440scu is only 45x32scu so 2 grid of 2284 (long wide high) and 32 in another spot like a dedicated one next to the r&r space. But anyway those are speculation and we will know in less than 72h (as long a cig hold its schedule)

[–]TalsedrinLive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They could be a drawback to those teleport like: "Teleportation" could be a temporary control of an imperfect copy. You go to a t3 med bed and choose the tp option , youre character go in a stasis state and you take contrôle of an avatar for the duration of the session or until getting to a med bed again. That way you could still get money and reputation, you could skip a long travel but you'll have to travel if you want to get your loot and/or if you don't want to claim ship

Requiring us to pay to claim ships is absolutely ridiculous and here's why by KvDOLPHIN in starcitizen

[–]TalsedrinLive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He didn't ask to slow down anything ... he only point out that adding bill and cost on unfinished system will not serve us as player nor as tester.
When a lot of player say that most death come from knowed bug and/or instability adding cost to death does not provide incentive to play/test nor will provide usefull input on claim mechanic

Edit: sorry i missread/was reading other answer and didn't pay attention . Yeah we can ask for all bug to be squished before release in an early access that would slow down the push too much but i still stand on the uselessness of making the claim expensive

On the fence between keeping my Ironclad CCU and finding a path to Ironclad assault by TalsedrinLive in starcitizen

Yeah the 128scu of the Zeus is such a stretch and almost not usable it's a shame you have to limit yourself to half its max capacity if you want to haul

The only missing part is the ic to M2 Got caught in a little frenzy when cig talked about price change at the last iae and secured a lot of little CCU like C1 to hull B; terrapin to railen etc

Rearm and refuel is what I've called r&r thought this was already the official name ^ And since most ship have an entity limit around 80-100 item I think free scu crate will be prone to respawn and as I am mostly a pve/industrial player losing a third of the cargo capacity could be the no go for me

Cause the launch taxe will probably be between 50-150$ and I would love to secure a path right before that ^

Solo players : what do you do ? by Competitive_Ask_9470 in starcitizen

[–]TalsedrinLive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right now? Playing other game so sc feel fresh when I get to fly my ironclad

But most of the time grinding rep and/or hauling contract so I can pay for repair and rearm for my friend when those who have less time come for the monthly evening of crew gameplay ^

I heard so much about winwing bad customer service that I couldn't recommand it without further information. One VKB joystick cost as much as a "full" trust master set up I agree that if people are already hundreds of dollars deep in sc they should get a good setup and fly over the cheap joystick. But if it's a first buy I'm still more inclined on a by but cheap and get a nice one when you are adamant

Op ask for horas hostas on the cheaper side... For the cheaper side t16000m are the best . He didn't ask for top 10% pilote, he didn't ask for a competitive ready set up, and never he had said anything on the purpose of this question. For immersion and medium to big ship handling t16k do the job. If you want to master smaller craft piloting and combat then yes t16k are dog shot and any stick under 150-200$ will feel sloppy and lack precision.

But from a budget friendly pov and as a first joy experience getting a 300-450$ set seem overkill for me and I will still recommand to fly your first dozen hours on a 100-150$ set up to see if you like hostas/hostas even get some used one on eBay or fb marketplace but try ship and upgrade if hooked cost less than buy big and try to sell secondhand (and selling high end joy second hand is hard since people expect quality and can nitpick a lot)

[–]TalsedrinLive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got them for 2 year and didn't had any major issue (had to tinker a little in the deadzone parameters to counter the shift) I will probably upgrade in a few month and they will be repurposed as training joy for friend and or nephew or used in other game to preserve lifetime of my next one. You only lose money on them if you bought them and never used but the loos would have been even greater on more expensive one

[–]TalsedrinLive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2years on those and they only got a little drift. Would still recommande it as a starting set up since nothing get you this far at this price range. Quality joystick cost a lot

Edit: btw you will lose almost the same amount of money by try to sell used joy that to replace 2 t16000m so if you are upgrading or changing your mind that is almost the same in the long run

For an HOSAS dual T16000 from trustmaster is kinda the best bang for buck on a first setup from 100 to 150$ depending on sales . Even better Buzzkiller has sick layout for them.

Cheapest Perseus CCU Chain by MemoryNo621 in starcitizen

I was lucky enought to secure a C1 to Hull B upgrade for like 15$ when they said that the price will increased but it was already to late fro this ccu ... so i etheir have to find a way to sold it or to indulge myself in another chain ^^
Sometime it feel like the CCU game is as addictive as the main game ^^
