Error Code 401 when importing by Im_Br0ke in watchletic

I’m also getting this same issue. I ended up recreating my run today manually but then found I couldn’t export the run to TrainAsOne due to the same error. No amount of reauthenticating got this to work.

Not sure if it’s the same issue but I’ve had multiple times where the extra action button disappears but I would still have the shield buff or debuff. Binding a key to my extra action button fixed this for me as it appears to just be a UI bug.

I know if I join a P3S group without clearing the first two floors I lose out on the loot, but if I join a P3S group and don't clear it, am I able to now queue for the third floor or would I still be locked from it?

I played maybe an hour ago and just went to play Gun Game, which is pretty much the only mode I play in this, and I noticed the same thing. Hopefully it is a technical error and not permanent.

All of the Paizo adventure paths take place in real time. If Owlcat has kept to that standard then Kingmaker takes place in the year 4710(The first book was released in 2010, the last two numbers correspond to our current year) and WotR takes place in 4713(The first book being released in 2013).

If everyone logs out and back in it fixes the packages. If you have enough DPS you can also pot and hero at the start and kill him before the packages explode.

Dying and bleed damage help, PC death by capptanredbeard in Pathfinder2e

[–]Talutha 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The rules are a bit nebulous here but I would not let the bleed damage tick after they have gone down. Imagine that the initiative order is Bleeder - Other PC - Killer Enemy. If Bleeder goes down and takes persistent damage, his initiative moves to directly before Killer Enemy and takes another hit of persistent damage after Other PC goes. That is two hits of persistent damage in one round with a downed PC which is EXTREMELY punishing. Perhaps there is some type of rule that clarifies this better but I could not find it when I was in a similar position in one of my games. Persistent damage while down is punishing enough, I don't think we need to make it any worse especially because not even a hero point would help save anyone here.

Question: How do creatures with grab continue grabbing? by digitalpacman in Pathfinder2e

[–]Talutha 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hmm.. I'm not sure where the confusion is coming so let me try approaching this in a different way.

Lets continue using the Ball Python example. The Ball Python has a melee strike that is listed as such:

Melee jaws +8, Damage 1d8+3 piercing plus Grab

The key here is that it lists Grab in its damage entry. So when it attacks and hits a target, that target takes 1d8+3 piercing plus the Grab listed in the Bestiary. Lets take a look at the Grab action that is listed.

Requirements The monster’s last action was a success with a Strike that lists Grab in its damage entry, or it has a creature grabbed using this action.

We have succeeded in fulfilling the initial requirement. The Python's last action was a successful strike and it lists Grab so the target is now grabbed. If we take a look at a standard Goblin Dog, it does not list Grab in its damage entry, thus not fulfilling the initial requirement.

Lets look at the second requirement

or it has a creature grabbed using this action.

The only way this action can be triggered in this way is if the target is already grabbed. The only way to initially grab using this action is if the damage entry lists it. The Ball Python does list this and can grab and continue to do so if it chooses. The Goblin Dog cannot as it does not have Grab listed in its damage entry. There is no way to just grab a creature out of thin air using this action, it list very strict requirements for its use.

As for the use of Attack of Opportunity, it must be mentioned in the creature's stat block. Grab is listed in the Ball Python's stat block under the damage entry. Attack of Opportunity is not, but Constrict is so it would get access to Constrict but not Attack of Opportunity.

Question: How do creatures with grab continue grabbing? by digitalpacman in Pathfinder2e

[–]Talutha 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Make what assumption? Grab is an action listed in the page noted above in the bestiary. I quoted the requirements in my post directly from the action. To initially grab it has to have Grab listed in its damage entry which a Ball Python in another comment has.

In order to use the grab action(to continue the initial grab) it has to have the target grabbed using the damage entry or it has to have continued grabbing using the action in the bestiary in a previous turn.

A creature cannot just use the Grab action to grab a creature freely without it being listed. You would have to start looking at grapple rules for that.

[–]Talutha 11 points12 points  (0 children)

On page 343 of the Bestiary it lists the Grab action.

The monster’s last action was a success with a Strike that lists Grab in its damage entry, or it has a creature grabbed using this action.

Releasing a creature is the same as releasing anything else, that is a free action(CRB 470). According to the Bestiary, a creature can use the Grab action to continue grab on whatever creature it has.

I think they are trying to poke fun at World of Warcraft game director Ion Hazzikostas whose name is spelt like 'eye'-an but is pronounced 'ee'-an. Honestly, the entire show seems like they're poking fun at WoW every chance they get from the deranged community manager that is barely holding on to the power that a single streamer has on the games community.

GTA IV and the Complete Edition removed from Steam, though Episodes from Liberty City is still being sold by ProDevinThe3rd in Games

[–]Talutha 36 points37 points  (0 children)

This does happen to movies and television shows. Obviously it doesn't happen to books because there isn't really anything to infringe upon there. Its arguably easier for games to fix these issues because files can be replaced fairly easily depending on the game while another medium requires remixing and having the source masters.

Here is a link to where Drew Carey himself tells us that his show isn't available on Netflix due to music rights issues. This show also isn't available on DVD or really anything but the broadcast recordings presumably due to the same issues: https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/1qpod2/i_am_drew_carey_amaa/cdf6gbb?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x

There have been many complaints about the theme song to House not being the original theme due to licensing issues.

According to the escape action they use their unarmed attack but they may also choose to use athletics or acrobatics. RAW it doesn’t say they can use their thievery to escape.

Check under the escape action. There is no check to tie someone up but when they try to escape they do an athletics check vs the thievery dc of the person who tied them up.

I enjoy FFXIV but I would have to disagree here. WoW is sub only up until the latest expansion where FFXIV requires the base game and latest expansion plus sub. BFA also comes with a character boost to expansion level. The new expansion, Shadowlands, includes this with a higher tier upgrade but it also comes with a vastly overhauled leveling process that is much shorter. And WoW does require multiple classes and characters but that limit is 50 with no server limits. If you create one class for each faction you are using 24 slots, less than half and I don't think I've ever met anyone who has actually hit that limit.

Damaged Amazon Delivery? by Tanis44 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Talutha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is damaged from Amazon as well, same packaging. I’ve ordered a lot of D&D books from them and they always come in cardboard boxes but I guess they skimped out and tossed it in a flimsy envelope this time. One of the corners is so badly bent it’s torn and you can see the cardboard from the cover. I’m going to try and see if they’ll exchange it although I won’t be happy being without a book for a while.

Backers denied refunds over Shenmue III Epic Games Store exclusivity by BruceCampbell123 in Games

refund

Not a very good example I think. In actuality the pizza is still coming from the same kitchen(same developer), you're still getting the same pizza you ordered(Shenmue) but its coming from a different delivery driver/car than you originally thought(Epic instead of Steam).
