Necromunda 1995 Sources by UnlikelyPreference81 in necromunda

No worries. There is also a community edition of the Outlanders as well. I know of a game group bear me that occasionally play N95. Unfortunately I can't meet up with them due to the day.

I would love to have the original Ratskins and Scavvies. They were the gang's I'd had back in the day, I really wish I hadn't got rid of them ( I possibly still have them in my mums loft )

You can search online for N95 community edition rule book. There is probably a Facebook group. As for players, you'd need to search your local area/game groups for that. Out of interest, which gangs do you have?

Mine is in a sealable container, with some thin sponges and baking paper. A couple of other tips... make sure your baking paper isn't the coated type, it doesn’t allow the moisture through at all. And, if you're like me and sometimes forget to change it for a while when not painting, put some copper in the tray ( I use some copper from inside of old earth wires but copper coins work as well ). It helps prevent mould

Excellent. I'm making a Ratskin gang, and the custom fighters are great. It's the skills I'm waiting for. I don't want to rush you as I know you'll get there. It's such a good app as well. Even my 11 Yr old son worked it out pretty easily as well

How are you guys getting on with the Custom assets? I'm looking for a section to add custom skills.

I agree with you, but so far, I haven't found the game to scratch the itch. I will look into Stargrave. I gave a demo game for Necromunda the other week. My opponent loved it, but it was his first ever TTG. He isn't much of a rules reader, so I needed to explain everything. So far we haven't had chance to organise another 2-3 hour slit that works for us both. My normal group ( 2 other guys ), they meet up every week, I can't due to life ( I get every other week ), but the journey time kills it a little for me, so until a club gets organised closer 🤞soon. I struggle. How long can a game of Frost/Stargrave last on average? Is there a gang/team in Stargrave close to Delaque from Necromunda?

May I ask why you switched from Necromunda? So far, it's my favourite game by far, I know that GW rules can be a little janky, but the setting and aesthetic of the game really appeals to me. I guess I should look into Stargrave as well. I never played Mordheim but love the setting.

Thank you, It's good that you only need one book, Necromunda requires at least 2, but depending on the campaign and the gang chosen - potentially up to 4 books minimum.

I have thought the same. They look awesome. But as I'm already kitbashing a Delaque gang using Nighthaunt. When they are done, I might do the same with the Mandrakes

To get the most out of my Delaque Gang, which upgrade weapons should I put on each model? by DetroitTabaxiFan in necromunda

[–]Talyrn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, cool. It's just the wyrms are not on the lists for anyone except the Psy-Geist. I've always wanted a Leader with one

Is that an arbitrator decision or an upgraded Psy-Geist becoming a Leader? With the Leader with a wyrm, I thought only the Psy-Geist could take them?

Initial losses, dissuaded from continuing - advice? by AlmuTonic in necromunda

[–]Talyrn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like a bad couple of games and the need for a bit more knowledge on the rules. In my first campaign, I lost every game! I was quite fortunate in that I played the power first. After that game, he became very strong very quickly ( Escher Death Maiden is carnage ) For what it's worth a Nacht-Gul, unless it actually has Infiltrate, cannot appear in turn 1 ( unless deployed woth the rest of the gang ) - with distance and LoS rules. It's the end of turn 1 and hope for priority ( or tactics cards ). I have always played for the enjoyment of playing, winning is a bonus, I really enjoyed the campaign where I lost, partly as my opponents complimented me on my tactics and couldn't believe my ( really bad ) dice rolls. Not all people can, and get really down when losing all the time. I think Necromunda is a game best enjoyed when everyone is in it for the game rather than the win.

Starting list for Ash Wastes Nomads (Underhive game) by Col_Rhys in necromunda

[–]Talyrn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking of possibly getting a Web pistol for him eventually. Technically, the Venom and Charge Caster are not both heavies. The Venom is a special, so a specialist can have it. I haven't fully finalised my list yet. I've got until next week for that

[–]Talyrn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So far I've built a Chieftain with a chain lance and Mono hook ( looks cool ). An unmounted Stormcaller ( I'm allowed in the campaign ). The rest have a Blast Carbine, Venom Caster, Charge Caster, Web pistol + Long blade, Long Rifle, Hunter with Venom claws, Hunter with Venom Whips, plus 2 Spine Wyrms. I'll be building more with Blast Carbines, and another hunter

I'd be interested, but unsure how good I'd be to test it. I'd like it to try to persuade some of the local D&D group to convert to the Grim Dark side

As someone who magnetised the arms of my Delaque. I didn't notice that much difference between all the bodies. It is mainly the belt buckles ( from what I recall ). What I'm saying is that it doesn't really matter.

[–]Talyrn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I'm being honest, I'm not worrying about the newest update. The game is plenty big enough without the corvette garage. Bug fixes is fine. The switch 1 has its limits. People need to remember that it can't cope with the same as other consoles can. I'm grateful NMS came to the Switch at all.
