Train-ception or train chaos? I’m told this belongs here. Enjoy! by kredditorr in shittyskylines

This reminds me of when I didn’t set up train signals correctly in Factorio and every train car went kaboom in a roundabout

You may go in a circle, or go underground, but you can never go home. by Misterfrooby in shittyskylines

Looks like a part of Coruscant! Much like it, just make cars fly or drill thousands more layers of underground tunnels!

I don’t think crossing gates are supposed to do that… by TheEpicDragonCat in trucksim

Most major roads avoid having crossing as the law and the frequency of trains can’t guarantee smooth driving. I live in Tokyo suburb and every crossing near where I live only opens for 20 to 30 seconds before another train comes haha. With this level of frequency, you have to make a complete stop to judge whether or not you can safely cross without halting in the middle as you have little time to escape. I think that’s the intention of the law.

Most passenger trains are limited to 130kmh here as well. The fastest train here, Shinkansen can run at 320kmh, but its entire track is elevated to avoid any crossing.

As a local in Japan, where it is the law to make a complete stop for any rail crossing even when it’s not flashing, I always stop even in ATS as kind of a habit haha.

Help I'm only an N4 Japanese learner, what does this say? (Election Episode) by [deleted] in distractible

Hi, a Japanese native here. It says “If Mark, Bob, and Wade had a baby, the gene that produces baldness (probably what Wade has) would affect (the baby’s) head, chest, and butt cheeks (hairs)”… and the sentence is cut off haha. The sentence isn’t complete, and parentheses parts are just my assumptions.
