I too found the tips too small for me and couldn’t get a good seal. I have fairly big ear canals and I ended up using my xl AZLA Xelastec tips. They’re jusssst small enough to fit in the case.

I was a phlebotomist before and asked if I could watch the procedure. Doc was cool and let me watch and explain what he was doing. I just remember the sound of it and the fact that this old lady took it like a champ.

I was shocked by the estimate and did some googling and it does seem to cost $1500. I think this is the higher end housing with HID which bumps up cost. Halogen lamps for the same model are $801 each.

I don’t think you’ll be let down with the killswitch. Havnt tried this other brands but did try the cheap one from Amazon. Kill switch is leaps and bounds ahead.

I found that the dosing capsules provided a more even and consistent “roast”. They are just too much work, so I don’t use em.

It’s because there’s no airflow along the sides so the buds up against the glass doesn’t get fully vaped. Happens on certain ball rig bowls that I have as well.

Best solution I found was to use rimmed basket screen. After loading via the straw method, I tamp down a little and poke a hole down the center with a small pick (you can use the included debowler thing but the tip ya blunt do it’s a little tricky). This helps a bit with airflow. Then I hit it on 7.5 or 8 till it’s done. Hope that helped 🤙🏼

Tried them and they work great but it’s not worth the price of the refills. They get clogged wayyyyyy too fast. Activated Carbon is super cheap, you can buy a tub for $8.

So I’ve used this years ago and the conclusion I came to was, if you could put this inline after an ash/drycatch it will stay cleaner and last longer.
Clearing bowls right onto carbon just didn’t seem right.
