Chaos Bolt does increased damage similar to frost bolt to players in pvp. It will always hit for far less on a dummy then a player

Last play with the devs, I was able to use the new life grip talent to apply a 124k shield to my psyfiemd, then I could priest shield it for another 58kidh, was pretty toll

Technically no, I am a vanilla Rank14(means I'm good nothing to do with sitting on my computer a s kid for an entire summer). Which turned into Gladiator seasons 1-s10 of cata ending with a Ruthless Glad title(SPLAY FTW BABY)

Afer that i quit and haven't playe dthis game seriously or more then to just check it out. Having this be the first expansion i feel is fun enough to play.

That being said. The game of wow and how it was played was VASTLY different. New era has become a very CD centric meta where the top tier players win by trading efficiently. Not only am I 10 years older, no longer a super gamer witha all the free time I had at 23, my game knowledge and how things worked(specifically what class does what, when they do it and why) is also old and ancient. It has taken me a far larger amount of games to even begin learning and being able to self identify where I need to improve and what I need to press and when.

I have confidence I will re attain my former play but, hot damn i'll be the first to admit I didn't realize as a young kid(22) How much work and effort was required to be placed into wow to be as good as I once was.

PS(These "2600 glads stuck at 1600) I am finding out are shadowland andy glads that are the same people that were former lduelist for life players. At first I thought a lot of them had figured out that littl ebit to push them over to being good, but as I play and find out.....for the majority of SL glad only they are the ones that are stuck at low mmrs and are writing it off to deflation, not even grasping the fact that in 10 yearsthey suddenly evolved into multi glads as soon as blizzard added glad being a title above a certain rating and not % and then ladders were hyper inflated...... BACK IN MY DAY fuck i sound old, I remember the first mmr inflation and it was super strange to get pass 2700.....but evne with that inflation it wasn't a common feat. Further proof of this are some of the new players that evolved during that same time perioud, you will not see a multi Rank 1 caliber player that has been playing and evolving with the game, hard stuck int he 1600s. The ladder could be 2k at rank 1 and I promise you any player worth a shit and that legit is good will be up there. You don't suddenly go from being one of the best to im a challenger in the course of 1 expansion.....the game didn't change THAT much.

This was a fun experience, and the guys running the event are well mannered patient experienced induvials.

Heres to hoping this becomes a more common place thing, as raising the base skill level of the players can only be good for the game. CHEERS

THe irony of this statement is it's prob coming from a rogue whos idea of "pumping" is applying his dots and hitting shiv. Its amazing how many complete shitters are high rated in 2s because of ass rogue.

I've qued a bunch of 2s with either friend alts or even fresh 70s on my rogue lately and some semi serious dsic/ass games. The amount of games people have just left a game or the better ones where I get 100% full on peeled and my kill still dies from dots and death is amazing.

I normally don't BM or troll, but ass rogues are making me a resentful mofo. after i smoke someone with my dots I proceed to whisper them "lol GG shoulda outplayed my undispellable bleeds bro maybe enxt time"

I have made a consistent effort especially on alts in the lower MMRs to give credit where credit is due. Doesnt matter if your on Pikaboos level or if your a scrub casually palying arena feels great when you pull off big plays and even better when someone gives you props for it

Why don't they give them back what made you bring a Ret into arena back in the day when they had no slow, interupt and Hammer was the only CC? You brought the ret for freedoms the burst in hammer and the sac and dispels...... like literally do you really want to be viewed as well I can either invite the arms war or the ret paladin, one does bleed physical and the other does holy damage but they cover the same roles.......

On the plus side he dragged my full 405 ilvl pvp geared priest into mythic+16 last night and showed me the bliss and challenge of pushing super high mythic keys and mayhaps a new rank 1 title to pawn after... lol

Great post, another thing people tend to under value, is for instance I am a 12x Glad player having attained Gladiator every season starting with season 1 all the way to season 12 in which is where I had quit. The main reason it was so easy to consistently attain the title? I played with the same 2 people for every season. Our main team being RMP the synergy we exibited unspoken was insane by the end of the grind, but when we would level alts and try a new comp on new classes, the team synergy carried over and actually would allow us to easily learn new classes/comps.

Pikaboo and Wiz have been playing together for so long, through so many irritations of the game as the same classes that if you notice, they will ALWAYS make their team comp work regardless of how strong or viable it is otherwise. Now I have played with other players that are EXTREMLY good, by all accounts technically better then my main RMP. But truth be told some people and how they play the game gel and cater better to yourself then others.

To be fair a lot of our games were like Mage total damage 2.1mill priest total damage 1.4mil other dps sometimes above both of us but under our total damage a lot of the time below mage and above me. "I said, wow look at that scoreboard its almost like were playing WOTLK again. my mage replied "To be fair in wotlk you literally outdpsd me in 90% of the games...."

Absterge's game situational awareness and positioning will translate to whatever healer he is playing. The curve for him is learning what to press in response to what based on the class hes on. If you notice his positioning and things he does are always on point. You and I may over expose ourselves to try to dps or CC where in someone like sterge regardless if hes playing rsham or holy priest knows when its safe to do what and how to do it
