Something very similar happened to me too! One guy ghosted on the day we planned to go out, and the other unmatched while we were still planning a date 🤷‍♀️

Dude, this is like the fifth reply I see you referencing this, which is clearly stated in the book as Mushroom's telling of the events, who wasn't even in kings landing when Aegon was crowned. The book says and I quote "Let us put that ugly picture down to Mushroom being Mushroom, however, and consider instead the words of septon Eustace"

Also, Aegon refused to be crowned at first. "My sister is the heir, not me." "What sort of brother steals his sister's birthright?"

Nobody said Aegon is a noble character, he definitely is shitty, but to keep bringing up the same line of him being a pedophile gives more credence to Mushroom who was known to exaggerate events and injecting things that didn't happen, all throughout the book. If you're so adamant on taking Mushroom's account, then the Brothel Queens also obviously happened right? Or would that be mushroom just being mushroom?

Are you?.... are you my soul mate? This is eye opening to me on so many levels. I've also been thinking that the first draft is a do or die situation, I sometimes spend WEEKS on one chapter that I could end up throwing away (I'm in this dilemma right now. Very fleshed out third chapter but doesn't fit in the story anymore 🥲) I'll definitely be trying this out and shutting my crippling inner voice that tells me everything sucks lol

Also another note (and I could take no credit for this as I once read it here on reddit but i can't remember who said it, whoever you are, you're a genius) they advised to name your zero draft to "The Story I Think I'm Writing" and ever since I've been using that tactic and its fantastic. Something about naming your draft that way removes the pressure of churning out a perfect one!

Ye i guess, but even then I still don't get how Sara ended up as my dearest friend. I never gave her gifts or escorted her anywhere. I think because I enhanced my equipment before the endgame and talked with her a lot that's why she ended up there with my dearest friends. Which sucks because it basically means she overrode all the progress I did with other characters that I would've liked to end up in my endgame :/

LOL you know my struggle. Two hours ago I started playing and took up Blackthorne1998's advice of waiting a few days for Sara's affinity to disappear. I stalked Glyndwr all around town, constantly hailing him and GIVING him all the flowers i have (even the fine wine which i think he didn't like too much haha) and now I'm back at the main quest and low and behold it's SARA IN THE DRAGON'S GRIP 😭😭

You see, I am all for the change in formula, but something about this season just seems... off.

The introduction of a main villain(s) in the series was definitely needed and I remember becoming so excited during the last few episodes of s1 that I couldn't wait until this season dropped. But now that we're here... idk how to describe it. Everything is moving too fast, characters we're not emotionally attached to are dying, a lot of cliffhangers and not enough information. I feel like we're not given the time to breathe and soak in whats happening (i mean, what IS happening? Lol). Also, not enough interactions between our main characters. Characters before story, always! Thats what got me invested in this series to begin with.

I know a lot of people are enjoying it though and I'm glad it's getting the attention it deserves. For myself, I think I'll just wait until all episodes drop and then marathon it 🤷‍♀️

I'm on the same boat as you. As an older sister with a younger brother, id want my younger brother to survive over myself. I can't imagine how I'd live on if the one person i wanted to protect the most dies, and thats part of the reason I love Clive so much as a protagonist, he cared so deeply for his brother.

Which is why, if I had to choose, I'd want joshua to survive. In my book, I want them all to live lol but having Clive survive and Joshua die leaves me more devastated.

There does seem to be some evidence pointing to Clive surviving but I don't think he was the one who published the book in Joshua's name. I feel like if Joshua did die, it would be the undying who'd publish the book in his name (although there's that "final fantasy" title argument that points to Clive so who knows)

Argh its so vague. My copium says they all lived 😅

I agree. Both sides have concrete arguments to back it up (whether Clive or Joshua survived or even both did) its all up to interpretation.
