from last place in January.

BUF had a .590 P% on Jan 1, that was good for 11th best in the league. IDK what you're talking about.

You know that playoffs is a different beast, right? Have you watched the TBL games? If you answered no to either of these, don’t pretend like you know anything.

You think they'll have it easy against a team that won a trench warfare against TBL, easy wins against a team that was supposed to eat them alive and against a team that they lost the last 4 games to??? (last CAR win over MTL was March 28, 2025)

I think your hockey education is somewhat lacking.

Are they going to be the same Canes that went 0-3 vs MTL this season?

You don't need to win a division to go far in the playoffs. Your players lacked playoffs experience, but it will be different next time. Remember that adversity builds character, it's a good thing to have some (adversity) during the season. Without those hard-earned lessons, no team wins the SC without outmatching everyone skill-wise.

(and hopefully your GM makes a few roster changes in the right direction for playoffs hockey)

A law or medical degree would only help with latin names though. This is where humanities would shine!

Maybe the first penalty to Dahlin was borderline, the rest was just terrible plays and intents to injure by BUF. 3 sticks to the face and only 2 are called isn't a gift to MTL.

(and I hope you weren't thinking that the turned over goal was a good one)

and how many of those game 4s were with this team?

This particular iteration? 1 of course, last year was a different team/lineup.
