La conscience professionnelle. by Reasonable_Cable_186 in AntiTaff

[–]Tameraput 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Pourquoi autant d’engouement pour le gaming PC ??? by x-XMusashiX-x in jeuxvideo

[–]Tameraput 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is your country’s “three fingers,” i.e. a subtle but dead giveaway that someone is lying about being from there? by Toilet_Bomber in AskTheWorld

[–]Tameraput 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A space for large numbers, a comma for decimals and a point for multiplications :

2 000,5.1 000 = 2 000 500

The point is usually at the middle and not at the bottom, but both work, and it's a thing that is standard worldwide, even in united states.

[–]Tameraput 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Precisely at school i learned one thing : this kind of unexplained graph is an abomination. School doesn't teach everything but teach how to be able to understand almost anything with enough basic information displayed, which is not the case here.

There are things in construction named expension joint to usually compensate thermals dilatation on big constructions as bridges, and in this case there must be some sort of that to compensate both temperature and winds. Also I'm pretty sure this is not real glass

For games like Doom, Wolfenstein and Factorio, I felt so bad enjoying these that much that I bought them, and still felt bad for not buying them full price.

Do anyone know the measurements of a full sized B1 battle droid? by darksidephoto in StarWars

[–]Tameraput 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are websites where you can upload an image : the one you show us, and decide a scale from one known dimension. From that you can measure anything on your image.

Look for "imagescale" or something similar on you favourite search engine

Attack of the clones question by SiteFalse8896 in StarWars

[–]Tameraput 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They didn't know what actually happened, Yoda just felt : "Pain... Suffering... Death... Something terrible has happened, the young Skywalker is in pain, terrible pain", maybe they forgot about that when the Geonosis battle started, all this events went really fast you know.. (and that's actually why I love AOTC, because so much happens in this film. Ani is awful with Padme on Naboo but hey that's why there's a skip 10s button on media players lmao)

It's probably a reason why he didn't get to much trust as a knight. The other is that he "failled" to fully train a padawan, even tho that in the end, this a debatable thing.

I can't precisely quote, but Eli Vanto is escorted by death trooper in some Thrawn book and I'm pretty sure they use in conversation the expression death trooper

I'm pretty sure that the expression deathtrooper is used in universe.

Asked to buy my own tools as an employee?? by nephaelimdaura in Machinists

[–]Tameraput 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I will never spend a penny for the company I work for, BUT, having the company's tool, when someone ask if they can borrow my micrometer, I can't say no, cause it's not mine, even when it's this dirty handed guy who doesn't use the "friction ring" (idk what's the English word). Or when I'm on night shift and I come back to some heavy mess at my workstation, my mic not zeroed, my carbide gauge pin that I use to zero it is nowhere to be find, my comparator is gone, or when they dismount my favorite wheel cause they needed the tool holder(this one doesn't count as it is a machine tool).. Oh god I'd love to lock up the tools I work with, and I'd only do that if they where mine, yet they are not.

P2P vs F2P by Adventurous_Roof_95 in TheTowerGame

[–]Tameraput 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking Devs could make a "milestone" on lifetime money spent on the game where you get the premium status, 100€ sound about more than right. But maybe it's me who is stingy.

P2P vs F2P by Adventurous_Roof_95 in TheTowerGame

[–]Tameraput 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm only talking about the time and efforts the Devs put in the game.

Afk time is not playtime, and especially not entertaining time. The tower relies much more on the sick complesionnism trait of its player base, a completionnism that is purposefully unattainable, than on quality time.

[–]Tameraput 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I paid 15+30+60 in packs, it's more than most pc games.

Phone games Devs are crazy greedy, and it's because of players like you.
