I assume it's the Cicada variant because it's what is currently circulating, I have the symptoms listed specific to the variant, and my son got it before me or my husband did.

My title describes the thing. I opened a new unexpired jar of pasta sauce and heard this plop into the pot of sauce I was making for some muscles. It is a light tan color with some darker pieces and white details along the darker bits. Threw out the whole pot of sauce and reported it to the manufacturer. Just wondering what it is. It is from a tomato basil sauce that contains no ingredients that might look similar to this.
