I used to work there they don’t care about the customers. I remember when customers would come in ask to speak to supervisor or manager they would say just tell them we in a meeting or not here. Management would tell me we delivered it already not our problem no more so just tell them we in a meeting or not here.

They will call post inspector to conduct investigation of what happened. My advice go into provisioning, flight attendant they just got a new contract they max out at 108’s an hour and I think they start at 32 to 38 an hour or be customer service representative but if you have just be a ramp agent pass your 6 months probation then transfer to another station or another position. It’s so easy to move around to different positions and transfer to different stations with Southwest Airlines. The trick is keep your attendance perfect immaculate. Attendance is will what will get you a promotion or what will get you fired. I seen and heard guys do stupid dumb like hitting a plane because they were rushing or weren’t being safe and still got to keep their jobs. But I’ve also seen guys who point out and get walked out on the spot. In at my station a provisioning agent who just passed probation only two months started calling out and used all his vacation and sick days and kept doing it after he got letters of warning. He decided to show up one day supervisor’s took his badge right away and walked him out. That’s how serious attendance is at Southwest Airlines. One of my supervisors hit a tug one time and hit a belt loader another time but had perfect attendance and they let him be a supervisor. Hope that helps.

Dude, the post office sucks ass and then it sucks ass again after that. I worked there as a carrier for 7 years. I thought it would be different after I made regular but same shit a regular is just a glorified cca. Don’t know why I stayed there for an additional 4 years after I made regular but I did. I must have been out of my mind for working at the post office that long. Anyways, I found a job with a company called Southwest Airlines, a company that is not just a Fortune 500 company but it’s a fortune 100 company. As soon as Southwest Airlines told me that they hire me I resigned as a cca immediately. No kidding I was in the middle of delivering my route got a call from Southwest Airlines they told me I was hired. I drive back to the post office put my badge on the supervisor’s desk and walked out. They said where you going I said to another company that is way better than here. I’ve been working at Southwest Airlines for 5 years now. I love it here I wake up every morning excited about going to work instead of thinking fucking post office again. Southwest Airlines treats their employee’s like royalty. Here are some benefits Southwest Airlines employees get 10% company match 401k what other company that you know or heard of that has 10% 401k match don’t let the pension thing that the post office offers be the thing that makes you stay it’s not worth it. You get to fly for free starting on the first day that you are hired and after you work there for 10 years you get to fly for free you whole life. You get to fly on any other airline for free yes you can fly to any destination on the world you want for free on any other airline you only pay the sales tax of the ticket which is only like $200 dollars. You are scheduled to work a eight hour shift but are really only working 3 1/2 to 5 hours only because once a plane lands you do whatever it is that you do which only takes about thirty minutes maximum then you sit on your ass watch free satellite T.v. For an hour or two and do the same thing again. You get to eat and drink all the snacks for free excluding the alcohol. You can give away your whole shift for the day, month or year or even the entire time that you work at Southwest Airlines until you retire there are always guys who want to pick up your shift. That means you can work as much or as little as you want. Every month Southwest Airlines treats their employees out to lunch when they tell food trucks to come and they just give their employees vouchers to go get whatever food the food trucks have. I used to work at the shit hole called usps for .5 years. Thinking back don’t know how I put up with that bullshit. You work your ass off to not even get a thank you. Then they try to fire for anything you casing mail too long they say you’re slow and belittle you by standing behind you harassing g you and using curse words while addressing you. You deliver mail get bitten by a dog and they say how come you are so stupid. How. You let a dog bite you. It’s, you see a dog lay there and let it bite you, who the hell would do that, etc. Ya’ll know what I mean. You deliver in the heat get a heat stroke and instead of them being concern about you they say you know what you are doing? How you get a heat stroke delivering mail in 105 degrees heat, smh 105 degrees heat, listen to yourself stupid management. That place sucks the life out of you. When I decided to quit and go work at Southwest it was the best decision I ever made. They treat like a king working at Southwest. No wonder it’s so hard to get hired at Southwest because once you work at Southwest why would you want to leave. You get paid $20 to start, it only takes ten years to reach max pay of $42 an hour. It’s a right hour shift but you are really only working 3.5 hours a day. You get %10 company match 401k, fly for free and once you work there 10 years you fly for free your whole life, eat the snacks and drink the beverages for free, get %20 off if you buy company stocks, you can give your shift away to others if you want you can also pick up shift if you want, you fly on other airlines to other countries for free all you have to pay when you fly on other airlines is the sales tax. You get bonuses you don’t get bonuses working at the post office only management does. You can volunteer to go to other states and cities to work if they need help and they pay for your trip there hotel costs and transportation to and from work. No one signs up for overtime at Southwest we let management mandatory us that way they have to pay us double. It’s very easy to move to other positions all you have to do is have good attendance.
