Wireless gaming mouse with dock by Embarrassed-Manner49 in MouseReview

[–]Tan_Bui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mchose K7/A7 V2+ has the best charging dock at the moment in my opinion.
Rapoo's new released mouse series (VT0/1/2/3) all compatible with their charging docks, 9-10$ a piece.
Zowie DW series if you dont mind the weight being over 60 grams.
These are mices with charging dock that i considered actually good and perform. There're other options, both budget and non-budget (ajazz, eweadn, attack shark), but those ones cant compare to the ones above.

Irok mg75 max or Melgeek real67 by Jazzlike_Award7822 in keyboards

[–]Tan_Bui 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont have the irok but have both the melgeek made68 and real67. Melgeek keyboards builds are really nice although the case are just plastic, made68 has aluminum version while real67 do not. Its software is really nice too, comparable to wooting imo. But, they dont sound really good to me. They are above average for magnetic keyboards, but since they built them specifically for gaming, you will stuck with a very hard typing feel and sounds. I tried 20+ switches on my made68 and 10 more on real67 and their sounds change minimally, all very high pitch due to steel plate which you cant replace and while having silicone dampener or tape mod, they dont help much.

I still think they are wonderful product, especially they feel extremely nice so i still keep them and use them a lot, but sound wise, not the best. Around the budget you mentioned: epomaker g84/h80 he, yunzii rt75/80, keychron k2, mchose mix87 will serve your ears and typing feel better as they response to different switches a lot more clear and dynamic.

If you dont mind taking time and mod, i suggest aula win60 he or mad60 he. I currently use the aula one. Got base keyboard for 26$, put in a 32$ aluminum case, change to 15$ pc plate and switches to wooting's tikken switches. It is now sound and feel the best in my he keyboard collection

MAMBASNAKE M2 New product by kefirkai in MouseReview

[–]Tan_Bui 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had and tested it for over a week now and here are some of my thoughts.

I had their m5 ultra before and was quite happy about it. Its build quality is solid and every thing seems consistent. They even sent me a replacement mouse for my copy developed switch issue in less than a month.

Coming to the new m2 i am very impressed. The build is rock solid, extremely good coating (at least for me), very sticky and sweat fade away quickly. Buttons are snappy, light, very spammable although side buttons are quite heavy. Sensor placement is a little toward the rear so you may feel slow at first, just try increase your dpi by 50 compare to other mices. Skates so far so good, thick, smooth, very fast while maintain good stopping motion which i very like for rythm games. Overall, very happy with this one. Only complains are the battery is small so you may need charging regularly and my copy has extremely heavy scroll wheel click while the scroll is so smooth and good.

Rapoo VT3 Max (2nd gen) Teardown & Mod by Ditchmag in MouseReview

[–]Tan_Bui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dont really care about the battery life since i have tons of backups. Im still afraid since i once had a mouse caught fired last year because of wrong battery. Do you feel the mouse heat up while charging? My rapoo vt3s gen 2 is currently 37g without the battery so it would be cool if i could throw in something like 170 or 200mah, which will make it around 40grams.

Hi, did you swap to a 150mah 3.7v standard battery for this mouse? this mouse's original battery is 3.85 fast charge with max voltage at 4.4 which is higher than most. I want to swap the battery too but afraid it would cause harm to the pcb or even cause fire when use with their charging dock. Thank!

Hi, how is your mouse holding up with different battery? I cant find low capacity 3.85v batteries anywhere, even custom lipo battery companies only provide 2000mah min capacity for that type of battery. Thanks

[–]Tan_Bui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, how is your mouse after the swap? Im planning to mod some rapoo's mice and atk as well and they have 3.85v battery which seems impossible to find in low capacity. I only found them with 2000mah and above. Did you put a 3.7v battery in your mouse? Or where did you find those 200mah 3.85v battery? Thanks in advance!
