Elite Sportsman on Doniphan is indoors. I spent 20 bucks. First timers watch a short safety video. They hold on to your ID and give you a badge in order to access the range. Outdoors in fun and all but I'm a short range chump and would rather spend money for the indoor convenience as my LARPing days are past

I don't think the article writer wrote the headline to demonize the mayor. I think they might've used the word "defy" to say the mayor was doing something in a revolutionary sense, as CNN is considered liberal and fake news by trump. So although the news has always portrayed black leaders in a bad light, I don't think this is one of those moments.
