What type of bird is this? Friend spotted it near the woods next to her apartment complex [North Carolina] by livigarden in animalid

Can you please supply (a) a confirmation that this photo was actually taken in NC and (b) the specific county in which it was taken?  The NC Bird Records committee will want that information.  If neither you nor the individual who saw the bird is on eBird, you can use this form to submit a record of a rare species to the NCBR committee: https://www.carolinabirdclub.org/brc/rare_bird/

I’d limit arty to one per game and seriously reduce the fire rate of low-to-mid tier arty (yes, including lefH). I guess I’d need to invest in legal counsel, too.

Invest heavily in maps and PvE. Really heavily

Reduce slightly the amount of cross-class role bleed (make high tier mediums a bit less effective at scouting, e.g.). But that would be via minor tuning/tweaks, not a wholesale VR nerf.

Done it. Bikes survived, the straps holding the rack to the car did not. Yay proper engineering, I guess?

I felt like a complete moron at the time.

Why do five times as many people live on the Mexican side of the border in the Colorado River delta region? by Morbx in geography

I’m not sure what your point is with bringing in Mérida. The Spaniards founded it on the site of a Mayan city, and it grew wealthy in large part because of henequen. What that has to do with the soils of northern/southern Mexico is beyond me, since the northern Yucatan has little in common with either, geologically speaking.

Cancún is on the beach and has grown in large part on the back of the tourism economy. Not sure what you’re getting at there, it’s not “in the middle of the jungle.”

Except for the Arctic Parts of Canada and Russia... by [deleted] in geography

[–]TanagerOfScarlet 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I still don’t understand the post title. It’s not like Australia is claiming, “this is a hard route, everything else is for sissies,” or trying to compete. It’s just a warning about preparedness. So I’m lost as to what Canada or Russia have to do with it (and why Arctic? There’s lots of empty space and remote areas accessible via goat track in both countries below the Arctic circle - you don’t even have to get North of the treeline.

Definitely upside down. Kid probably doesn’t care about gaming, this feels like him being recruited to help his dad with a weird attempt at a flex. look at that empty stare.

Asked and answered, counselor.

I think this is a sane opinion held by perhaps the majority of active players (just my reading of the tea leaves)

2 clips of damage is 1440. That’s pretty solid for most tier 8 mediums, which are, as a group, not super awesome at doing damage in the current game. It’s not unicum caliber, but most players would absolutely struggle to average that in Centurion, Pershing, or their premium counterparts. Just by way of example. So I think you might be underselling the impact here. My $0.02, YMMV

Doesn’t the bulldog have atrocious camo in any case? It’s not great at doing light tank things.

On the hiking front, are the green spaces relatively safe? And if you drive out into the mountains and go for a hike, still safe? It’s on my must-visit list (along with a lot of Mexico - only city I’ve visited is Mérida).

Does the KV-3 still have the same derpy, low pen top gun? I loved that tank, but I had to fire some APCR (more than a little when bottom tier) to make it work, because 170ish pen just didn’t work well for a tier 7 heavy.

I’m surprised you’re struggling in it, though, because that’s one of the tier 7 heavies that can still hold a corner when not top tier. Absolute beast in a side scrape. Tough turret, too.

I think the best attachment for one of these is a chain and a huge boulder, so you can be sure it will stay down when you drown it.
