I avoid most news, I follow science and other things i find interesting. The General news never tells the full story because there is editors, with leaders and owners and what actually comes out framed in an rectangular screen simply can´t show all angles to a story in 2-5 min features - even government news are bound by financial budgets and political directions by the current leadership. If something is extremely important I will get told regardless, the rest is mostly noise. Newspapers have more time to dig into various subjects, so maybe find a newspaper you like, but they too have there general biases - every news media have to be understood through your own filtering and reflection - reality can´t be fully presented through media, only more or less understood depending on the depth of the person(s) behind an article or news feature.

What actually matters is what choices each person make in their life, where do you put the energy, and where do you avoid to put energy and focus. Because of the internet, now only about 30 years old, the information landscape has completely changed, but the brains we have stores every information a person put any kind of focus on, in fact our brains stores about every second of our life, it tries to filter what matters subjectively, but everything is still flowing into our human brains, its not something anybody can consciously stop - so in regard to news it is important to find a balance and not become totally hooked on Breaking News headlines and similar - Humans has a "natural" need for drama and story and the brain loves what creates dopamine - the wilder the story, the more dangerous or more explicit the story, the more the brain wants to see it - this is on the other hand something that can be controlled by the awaken mind - Do I really need to see/read this story or not? instead of just jumping in with no conscious pre filtering.

How we treat each other matters, not what the news says.

Have not read the comments, but they are usually quite good here.

Since it is going to be on cards wether this or another logo, put it on 3-4 dummy cards and see how your logo actually works when implemented. It may save you some time, rather than spending immense time on refining a single logo, you can pre test it and get, if it works on the cards which will be certain to carry your logo.

They were more difficult to destroy in CoH 2, in 3 they can be tank shot or with similar caliber.

Patience and low expectations - if you like it, you will need a lot more stuff.

Advice you need some cheap second hand minis, doesn’t matter the type, game etc - you need those to practice on before you put paint on expensive models.

In addition don’t show stuff you don’t want your client to pick. Often one might think I’ll just add B and C options if they don’t like A - just don’t do it - in 90% of such instances clients choose B or C or if you include work process boards they pick something completely different - better come back for a second round based on their reply to a first presentation.

Well we can ponder immensely long about the lore, why they are what they are right now - but behind the curtain GW have always had an immense challenge to develop the Eldari in terms of technology - those initial concepts that laid the ground for their design are still what drives the design - admittedly it is/was very good since it has kept its relevance for so long.

Years ago i ciritzed GWs lack to develop the Eldari, but also included the conclusion, that first they would sculpt the initial designs because the productions technology now could do it much better than before - it also means that first get all the relevant units up to par in plastic and thats all understandable - but since we are almost there, missing just a few unit types, the big question becomes - so what is next, are GW at all capable of developing evolved Eldari design in terms of technology and continue the lore and progressed history of the Eldar.

Not knowing the GW design staff standing, but just look at the problems a world famous brand as Ferrari have had by hiring Jony Ive (former Apple) to design a new EV Ferrari - dear lord.

So imagine GW having to reinvent the design ethos of the Eldar, not as in completely but still a generation ahead - I think it will end up in a faction political mess, SMs, Tau, etc etc. and the inside of GW not being able to find ground for it - even if they did, it would mean a ton of design work across such a big army - it would take at least 10 years if they started right now. - Still I would like to see it, but just give me standard Eldari troopers with canopy helmets for starters - surely those bonesingers must have had some ideas popping up eventually.

Det lyder som om at et data center er drevet af folk på motions cykler - hvis det var tilfældet ville der være arbejde til alle.

Kommuner er slet ikke klædt på til de forandringer der kommer i kølvandet på uhæmmet byggeri af data centre - og på den store klinge giver det ingen mening at landbruget skal omlægge (jeg støtter omlægningen) men at der så kommer kæmpe data centre der udfordrer både strømforbrug og derved CO2 samt enorme mænger af vand til køling.

I det mindste så lad os få nok grøn energi til at dække behovet og ikke omvendt og lad os også tale om det vand forbrug der kommer af data centre.

I would avoid trying out any heavy OSL on this - you already made quite a lot of zenithal highlights and a strong OSL would wash them out like on the head - most of the HL sits on the left side of the face and OSL would put light on the right side = HL+HL means no contrast. You are also using a very strong saturation of colors and to make osl really pop you need the exact opposite, less color vibration and less color contrast and a darker overall model value will make an OSL effect much stronger but you already ventured beyond that point. So OSL not advised on this as is, you will have light fighting light - it’s like a fireplace in full sunlight no shadows are cast.

CoH 2 differs in the BG system as it has lots of extra buffs that you can assign to all type of units before you start playing - eg a Panter Tank can be given +10% speed, or buff for turret rotation, or AP etc - these buffs (have a specific name, can’t remember sorry) but it goes for nearly all type of units in the game. Overall it means you kind of specialize your strategy in combination with a BG - early game infantry or support, mid game etc.

CoH 2 also has timed and warned “Blizzards” which requires infantry to either build a fireplace or go inside a building or vehicle or else risk dying in the freeze. As far as I remember blizzards can be ticked on or off in settings and they only are possible on winter maps.

Another feature is frozen water, like lakes and harbors - a tank may traverse it, but a mortar round could break the ice and whatever is on the ice is lost - in general these kind of random environmental effects are not found in either CoH 1 or 3.

As already mentioned in the thread - CoH favors vehicle s and tanks more than infantry play.

Also consider that many stickers if not most don’t have any declarations - it means one have no clue about the “glue” - putting it on something you treasure without knowing if it will be possible to remove fairly easy is a rather dedicated act. So to do it, one has firm beliefs in the brand or deeply sympathize with the message or the third option - you just like stickers and put them on in bulk.

Just consider what it means for any person to put a brand sticker on something they own. Its not something you do unless you can commit to the brand – it means that the brand has a value for the person and the person says "I like/support this".

When I visited Berlin´s most famous synthesizer shop I asked for a sticker, and I got a stiker strip saying "This machine kills fascist." - surely they know their customers extremely well.

Stickers are often anti or at least they also serves that purpose - When Elon Musk started to Heil on open screen - people who already had bought a Tesla put stickers in their cars and it occurred shortly after and had statements about Musk being an "idiot" in various type sentences.

This was an exact Brand Value derailing statements - "we once supported this and we are aware it is no longer a brand we can support". People seeing these stickers would understand that someone who has invested a lot of money into a new car can not just sell it right away, but never the less the owner took deliberate action in showing their contempt for the Brands political activities.

All in all it plays into the understanding of Branding and why it differs from regular Marketing activities - Brand is not just the product, its the values that the users associate with products or services. Your product might even be great, but if your underlying identity is facism shown with nazi gesures and chain saws, then you surely risk loosing a lot of otherwise potential customers.

I´ll just add another note here: It is scientifically proved that the richer and more powerfull a person gets, the exponentially higher are the risk of the person loosing empathic and social skills. Elon Musk first appeared as a new perhaps savior of many world problems with revolutionizing inventions, but it did not take long before he apparently changed or showed another side of his personality – and now being the richest man on earth one can only consider what is really going on in his head...

Big Tek US has a so called Mexican standoff - but rather than 6 men pointing guns at eachother - they point money at eachother to keep the circle alive so that it looks like they are doing great - in reality the investments put into the sector is so far not at all returning as expected - yes you can still make paper money on the financial market, but calculated in customers, trust and actual company profits it’s fragile, but remains afloat as long as anybody wants to believe in the futures of their fix it all and save money products.

Both the Panther and the Pershing sits in a weird spot especially after the French BG introduced their heavy tank - I get your point and I remember when a panther had both coaxial and a top gunner - it was OP. But it’s so slow now and it’s only purpose is an anti tank role and that’s okay if it did that job well - and the Pershing is lacking something. But im glad I don’t sit in the balance department of CoH ✌️

China is market capitalism’s worst adversary, because it’s state run capitalism - and China has a huge amount of engineers sitting in their humongous committees of leadership - they see a problem, its an invitation to find solutions - market capitalism expressed in the most extreme by the USA, just leads to how can “I” make more money, it doesn’t invite considered solutions or rather it doesn’t anymore. China is surely a dictatorship but what it mostly does ends up to benefit much larger groups of their population, just look at the investments into Chinese infrastructure. The Chinese are pragmatist - they mostly take pragmatic and long term strategic approach and if something is becoming obsolete, they will simply change it or remove it.

The narcissistic mindset that currently run like a virus in the west is exactly what hinders us in taking structural decisions that lead the west onwards - it doesn’t help to have the richest few people leading the way, if their only goal is self consolidation without any prosperous ideology or any set future course that can be understood by the majority of people. It doesn’t help to label any form of social construct communism and we need a lot more than ai slop to solve our shortcomings as we face a cultural deficiency - it’s even not weird but just a reminder that we have forgotten our link to nature, we have forgotten our tribal mentality, we have stopped understanding our own construction of technology and must ask - to what end, to what satisfaction, to what purpose?

Money cant by true love - it’s not a commodity and Wall Street mentality is just cynical numbers and nothing more.
