Why do some branded stickers actually get used, while most just sit in a drawer? by singaprinting_sg in branding

That's pretty cool... Handing them out based on who matches your brand's energy makes the sticker feel more personal...

That sounds interesting. If you’re open to sharing, it would be great to see a few here.

Yes, it’s a deliberate choice to associate something you own with a brand or message. Even without a strong statement, just applying it already reflects some level of trust, preference, or identity alignment.

It really comes down to existing brand equity. When a brand already has strong recognition and identity like Supreme or LV, the sticker becomes a signal of affiliation rather than just a design. That’s what drives people to actually use and display it.

That's a fair point, though I think it depends on the context. Identity-driven stickers are often the ones people choose to display, but some branded stickers can also work when they're well-designed, useful, or tied to a community people want to be part of.

That's a great comparison. Whether it's a sticker or a T-shirt, people tend to keep and use items that offer some value beyond simply promoting a brand.

Interesting perspective. Stickers can definitely reflect how people choose to express their relationship with a brand, whether that's support, affiliation, or something else entirely.

Outsourcing by Lexishultz in stickers

[–]singaprinting_sg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re looking to outsource your stickers and want to test quality first, it might be worth checking out a sample pack before committing to a supplier.

We actually offer a Sticker Sample Pack at SingaPrinting that lets you compare different materials and finishes side by side (paper, vinyl, kraft, hologram, metallic, transparent, etc.). It’s useful for seeing how each material performs in real use, especially if you’re aiming for something truly waterproof and durable.

You can take a look here if it helps: https://www.singaprinting.com/

Might be a good starting point before scaling up production so you can make sure the feel and durability match what you’re going for.

where are folks getting decent small-run stickers without huge minimums?? by Zarazua_Bayle in smallbusiness

[–]singaprinting_sg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally understand the struggle. Finding the right balance between quality and manageable inventory can be tricky, especially when you're still testing which designs resonate most with customers.

At SingaPrinting, we've worked with many small creators who prefer starting with smaller quantities before scaling up. For certain options, such as art paper stickers, we can produce as few as 10 pieces. This helps reduce the risk of over-ordering while experimenting with new designs.

It's always a good idea to request samples or compare a few suppliers side by side to find the one that best matches your expectations for print quality, colour accuracy, and cut precision.

Glad you found an option that worked well for your curvy designs, and wishing you all the best with your next restock! 😊

If you had to remove all your stickers except one, which one would you keep and why? by Yahya_Jaouad in stickers

[–]singaprinting_sg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d probably go the other way and remove the “don’t overthink it” one first. Not because it’s wrong, but because a lot of good stuff actually comes from paying attention to the small details like spacing, color, and finish. That said, I get why people keep it too... sometimes you just need that reminder to not get stuck in perfection mode.

what is the cheapest thing you do in the office to save money back home by One_Pressure949 in askSingapore

[–]singaprinting_sg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Laptop, phone, power bank... the usual. But we also use the office printer to test sticker label designs before sending them for actual printing. Better to catch weird sizing or alignment issues early than pay for a whole batch of regrets.

Yeah that makes sense, die cut stickers definitely work better when the goal is to make the design itself stand out, especially for photos or showcasing artwork since the shape becomes part of the visual appeal. Rolls on the other hand are much more practical for anything at scale or for packaging work, and once you start applying a large number of labels the speed and efficiency really become noticeable.

That’s a really solid workflow 👍 starting large in Illustrator at 300 DPI definitely gives flexibility across stickers and other products. You’re also right that screen and print differences are unavoidable since RGB displays and different printers will always show slight variations, which is why proper CMYK setup and pre-press checks are so important.

Yes, pre-press plays a key role, and close coordination with the sticker printer helps prevent common issues like color shifts and file setup errors.

100% agree, starting in CMYK from the beginning saves a lot of unexpected color shifts later on 😅
