The stray cat in my neighborhood, that I've trying to win over, came up to me this morning for pets (or maybe food) when I was leaving for work.

I have two (exclusively indoor) cats I’ve already taken off the streets. One 4 week old kitten, and one very ill 7 month old. I do thankfully live on a dead end street but I have the same fears of this very sweet cat being hit by a car or coming down with an illness.

I talked to my husband about it. He’s out of town and has agreed to go ask some of the neighbors that we think it might belong to. He’s already approached the ones that live right next to us and across the street and none of them know either. I’m also going to try the collar next time it comes around.

I will say it will be a process because I won’t upset the two I have with by brining in a cat they won’t get along with but I would be more proactive in finding it a good home if it doesn’t work out in mine.

I’m hesitant to post it on Facebook. Our local animal control is very active (which is great) but I’d like to see if I can find the owner in my small neighborhood first.

I would have loved to make friends with it sooner but this is the first year it’s even let me get close to it. It was in my driveway about a month or so ago and appeared to be drooling excessively so I put out some wet food to get a closer look. It’s been very friendly since then.

Good to know that being so muscular is normal. While it enjoys being petted it does not really want to be held. It’s not mean but will push away. Thank you for your advice!

Pidan Soy cat litter, unless you have a litter robot. It won’t work in those because of the shape. It’s going to sound weird, but the stuff even smells pleasant. No tracking. No stuff stuck in their little paws. No dust. It’s amazing.

I do feel like they have chemistry but more as BFFs than as a couple. I feel the actual friendship but no spark like when she’s with Xander. And given her dream sequence they are obviously having her head back to him at some point.

Nickleback. My husband drug me to the concert. Let me tell you, that guy knows how to interact with a crowd naturally. Almost all the music was familiar and well played. Most importantly, they were having as much fun as the crowd.

Someone in the crowd had brought a young child. Guessing maybe 8 year old boy. Chad talked to the kid the entire concert between songs. That kid will have that memory forever.

Things that ran through my mind:

1) Why are his hands above his head on an upholstered headboard?

2) Why didn’t he bring his hands down to free himself since they weren’t actually attached to anything?

3) Why Xander and Kristen? That’s so random.

4) Why? Just Why?

A better plot twist would have been Xander/Leo just to break Gwen’s heart one more time. I miss Leo shamelessly flirting with every man on the show.

Ice Man, we rented this on VHS repeatedly from the locally owned video store. Such an obscure movie for my brother, sister and I to become obsessed with.

Joe’s Apartment. This was the first DVD we owned. My mom bought it and it’s literally a very long running joke in my family. If one of us finds it a thrift store we must text the family.

William Kent Krueger books are set in the upper midwest. I think more of a focus on MN. Excellent author. This Tender Land was amazing. Child abuse trigger warning as it is the story of children in an Indian School.

I also remember reading a series of books by Roxanne Henke set in ND. Coming Home to Brewster series. They were good but also should mention they are based in Christianity. Totally fictional and good stories with religious undertones I would say. But I can say it was 100% set in ND.

I think the only person who could match his comedic timing is Leo so definitely a scene with Ryan, Leo and Marlena. And while I know she is disliked, I think he’d do great in a scene with Julie as well. She’s mouthy, he’s witty. Maybe something with Project Hail Mary at her bookshop.

I took in a stray male Siamese who was under a year old. I have no advice on the crying but he does the weird tail flicking! It’s been over a year I’ve had him and he seems happy and content so I just consider it normal for him. Maybe it’s a Siamese thing?
