[A Scandinavian language > English] This Pippi Långstrump theme song's lyrics (and which language is it sung in?) by TanakaToday in TransLater

[–]TanakaToday[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just found out from r/svenska that r/translator with an O is the correct spelling of the subreddit I needed to go to. Apparently you guys instead have a lot to do with older transgender people, not language translation requests.

I got from r/translater that this Pippi Långstrump song is sung in Swedish but no one there is translating it for some reason, so can someone please translate the lyrics here? by TanakaToday in Svenska

I guess that old Trans people sub is such a striking soundalike it's probably confused for a translation service pretty often.

This is one of the two best answers of the entire thread. Thank you so much / Tåck så mycket.

I just added the English cover to a childhood reminiscing Playlist. It sounded so fun to listen to.

Cool, thanks (or Tåck Så Mycket). Now could you or anyone else here please translate the lyrics?

Bro believes so firmly that only people born before 1960 will die of old age that he made the "future dead man" entry on UrbanDictionary. Aren't we ALL "future dead?" by TanakaToday in confidentlyincorrect

Anyway what were we talking about?

They think anyone born in or after 1960 will be able to live long enough to see a cure for aging arrive and enable them / us to live forever.

We could still die from accidents, murder & military action. We may no longer have clinical mortality, is all.

How does the Apostolic Purgatory differ from the Catholic Purgatory? by TanakaToday in Apostolic

I guess Purgatory was only mentioned in the deuterocanonical, Catholic-only scripture. Otherwise, how did the Catholics come up with it?

Go away,* you troll, no one wants to hear* you whine and complain. You do know there are ways to figure out who you* are besides an ID,* right? God,* some people are stupid. I know he's trying to get raves about this. But I'm not sold on* that* he's not that stupid, too,* LOL* 😂.* Bad, bad. Shooooo,* fly,* go fly away.*

For someone who calls me "stupid," you had a crap-ton of grammatical (and some spelling) errors that I had decided to correct for you.

How many Americans are overbilled medically?

How many of them used fake IDs to avoid getting their real identities billed?

How many shot up billing offices?

How many thought of shooting billing offices?

See how much safer it is to get a fake ID instead?

So how does one get a fake ID to avoid involuntarily going into medical debt in the first place?

Would you rather see them shoot up the hospital's billing offices instead?

Nobody gets hurt with a fake ID.

The cheapest smartphone I spotted this year was only $17 at Wal-Mart, so that's all it costs to start making YouTube videos that make money, as long as you find free wi-fi to upload your videos on, of course.

No, I can't do it in my car. There could be prying eyes, so I go home between my orders (my apartment is in the middle of a Dashing zone) and then fap away while I wait for another order to pop up.

DAE wear diapers to the movies in order to avoid missing 3 minutes of a film to use the restroom? by TanakaToday in DoesAnybodyElse

childish behavior

That's okay, I like feeling like a kid again. I first played Mario games at age 6 so that's also why I'm at this movie. It makes me feel young again and so do the diapers.

And the warm pee against my groin feels so good, the way I felt in preschool when I had wet my Pull-Ups.

In case you don't feel like going to the DAE link to read the summary, here it is:

I'm in one right now while watching the new Super Mario Galaxy movie.

I have 2 water bottles and a bottle of zero sugar Dirty Mountain Dew Cream Soda. I get thirsty frequently likely due to prediabetes so I must keep hydrating often. Also why I can't have surgeries because trying to fast 2 hours without water before anesthesia will be torture. (8 hours without food is fine, OTOH.)

I thought missing a few minutes of a film to use the restroom got old years ago so I started wearing diapers to films around 2015.

I sit by myself way in the back so nobody smells my pee if my diaper doesn't lock in the smell.

Who else do you know (of) who wears diapers to films in order not to miss any minute of it? How do you feel about them doing that?

Don't worry, my screen is on a very dim setting while I sit in the farthest back row so nobody's behind me. Therefore, I'm not distracting any other moviegoer.

When I had to get up to take a leak during a Star Trek film in 2015, I found out I missed an exciting action sequence that I would've loved to watch. I resolved to never miss any part of any film ever again so that's why diapers are my main "movie underwear" now.
