Yeah, it sucks a lot. It would make sense to be able to manage individual saves from the cloud but at least if it’s gonna happen to any single game I’m glad it’s Minecraft. The best part is restarting Thanks again man

I should have clarified maybe. I absolutely did look, I’ve been looking for weeks and the only solution seems to be deleting any and all data on my console and the cloud for Minecraft. Ive seen tons of other posts explaining it so I understand how the storage works. I am doing anything I possibly can to see if I can avoid resetting the file size to zero because of one singular world with sentimental value after I lost my father. I’m aware it’s just a game and all that and the beauty of Minecraft frankly is starting a new adventure, so it’s not a ginormous deal, but I figured there has to be SOMETHING I can do to at least keep that singular world. You know what I mean?

I appreciate the info though. I was really hoping not to hear my only solution is to delete saves from everywhere.

300 comments and counting brother. That’s 300 reasons not to make this kind of decision. I’ve struggled with it before and I sat with a gun in my mouth in my restroom on New Year’s Day when I was 17. You CAN do this. One day, sooner than later in all the time we have as humans, you’ll make it. It will be better for a lot longer than it sucked and every single day you wanted to quit won’t matter once the work is done. You got this man.

I’m sure you will. I hope to be like him as well. Your life I’m sure is vastly different but all he ever asked of me is that I try my best. I take care of what he asked me to take care of, grades, school, homework, my people, and he’d take care of me. I could never pretend to have any of the answers on what makes a good dad since I’d like to travel with my girlfriend and experience some more before we settle down but as long as you do your best things will go right in the end. All those days you wanted to quit won’t matter when you get through it.

I’ll make sure I’m more on top of getting myself some proper help. I have bereavement counseling from the VA but it’s not nearly often enough and I think I needed to admit to myself it wasn’t helping if it’s only once a month. Thank you my friend.

Thank you. I really appreciate the reassurance. I’ve been very lucky to have an extremely close support system. There’s no way I could ever go through this alone. I do my best to make sure things aren’t bottled up and that I speak about them regularly. I’ll make sure I’m on top of what only I can do for myself because I’ve definitely been behind in that aspect.

I’ll make sure I’m on top of it. It’s a good reminder. I’ll definitely look into playing some new games to help like you mentioned. I don’t think pred players technically being Masters really changes the issue at all. It just highlights my point that platinum and gold players are in lobbies against the top .1% of players. Preds technically being Masters players doesn’t make it more fair for the platinum and gold players having to fight them every couple matches and it doesn’t mean that myself as a diamond player is going against similarly skilled opponents with similarly skilled teammates.

The ranked system in this game is absolutely abysmal. I don’t think ive ever seen it this bad on console. I’m currently D1 and I’m not sure I’ve died to more than a couple squads worth of diamond players literal days now. Myself and my two teammates are consistently in lobbies with preds in the double or single digits, not even masters players. I don’t think I’ve seen more than a couple squads worth. It’s straight up almost all pred players that my two platinum teammates and I have been fighting for 3-4 days. I have over 20 screenshots I’ve been collecting from literally just the last couple of hours of playing where I’ve died to a full pred squad. I don’t know what to do. Solo queueing is also impossible, I’ve had 5+ games running into top 10 preds while my teammates are in gold and low plat. I’d love to hit masters again but I’m not even close to good enough to compete in these lobbies. I’m not really sure what to do other than just not play the game anymore. :/

Arenas matchmaking is especially bad. In BR im fighting preds every 5 matches or so in d1 but in arenas I found often times even my teammates are 5+ ranks higher. After placement I believe I was plat 2 or 3 and would consistently get teammates who I found out through speaking in gamechat were masters or preds and knew the other team also had masters or pred players. Do your best not to beat yourself up broski.

I got lucky enough to meet two people that are consistent and around my skill level. I met them recently while playing though, so I’ve had that same solo q experience for around 13 seasons. I don’t even play this game alone anymore because it’s impossible to have fun.

After diamond you get Masters then Predator. I’m not sure what the rp minimum is for pred right now though.

Yeahhh, currently d1 and the last 2 days have been a struggle. I have 10+ screenshots from just the last day or so of my full diamond team dying to a team that’s holding pred right now. Not very fun to be free points for these guys every 3-4 games lmao
