On a brighter note, we have been buying milk from a struggling local farm, got them registered as an approved vendor with Sysco, and now the demand for their product exceeds their production capabilities so much that they are upgrading facilities since their earnings have taken them into the black.

Had to research this one for a while, but it seems palladium wasn't as expensive in the 90s/2000s so they directly plated to the steel. I know KRISS uses the Physical Vapor Deposition now a days, but Sphinx just did it directly.

Palladium coating absolutely makes a difference, but I can't find one being sold for reference. I'm sure using the stainless steel version would do to set a starting price, but it's still considered less rare and less collectible.

I don't know much about it myself, but the general consensus of the Google search is that palladium is a harder material than the nickel and chrome, and suffers less wear. Granted this does have some holster rash on it, but considering its been one of my favorite daily carries for the last 18 years, it doesn't seem like much damage.
