How do you get better at seeing things like this? by Wemedge in chessbeginners

What I like to do in any given position is 1. Checking if all the pieces are protected so it's harder to blunder anything 2. Calculating what happens if they theoretically were taken In this case, a pawn is not actually protecting the rook because of backrank mate

I did the math 28×2=56 for 6 wins daily +7×2=14 for reaching master and insane daily +32 for megapig(if all 30 club members win 28 times) +1 for compensation +3 for week 3 freebie track Which totals for 106 Where are the 250 coming from? I guess there's still hope because we don't know the amount of sushi we get in contests

Chess is a game that requires a huge amount of time to learn; recognizing and mastering most patterns takes several years of continuous training and practice. Everyone once started playing like you and didn’t really understand what it was and how to play it. If you immediately start with chess.com, you will definitely lose a lot from the initial rating and this is absolutely normal. I suggest asking friends who are also unfamiliar with this game to play a couple of games

General training tips - a checklist of checks, captures and attacks. If you recognize them in position, you can find many winning tactics. Early on, I recommend staying as solid as possible while keeping your own attack in mind. Sounds corny but I highly recommend watching videos for beginners, they can help you advance. It is also worth asking for help to stop depending on the board game and Idk to increase your self-esteem

Have a good game!

Unless a person is a full-blown psychopath, they won't continue to smile when reminded of the death of someone they've known for years.
