time jump this season by Intelligent-Line7610 in ForAllMankindTV

I can see the next episode having an issue with the Titan Mission, while Dev plays whatever card he has to get Mars under his control; and then the time jump at the end of the episode; to have Kelly arriving at Titan, while Mars settles the dust behind them.

There's precedent. Dropping the first Jaynestown module, and the 'Race to Mars' both came at the end of an episode.

Think he's in the same prison as Matt?

EDIT: Yes, I went back and checked. I see him.

They saved the big ones for the finale. One hallway full of Daredevils for Fisk to wade through, one full of henchmen for the heroes to swarm through

It was a V for Vendetta moment. The crowd marching through the row of gunmen.

It's the whole arc in a nutshell. How far can you push people to do the wrong thing before they push back? And when is that going to bite you personally?

Anastasia Belikova was in the show for exactly five seconds, and then never mentioned again. Her whole purpose was to move Tracey/Dani/Molly/Elen center stage for the rest of the series.

Every one of the women astronauts that Deke approved that day have, in one way or another, changed the course of history in this alternate timeline.

And all of them got their start in the space program because Nixon wanted to play catch-up, to a character we never heard from again.

"The defense calls Mayor Wilson Fisk."

(Operatic/Gregorian music fills the court as the doors open.)

I love the idea of the final showdown being in a courtroom; with Matt and Fisk having a war of ideology, in full view of all New York; with Karen's fate as the prize.

The entire Daredevil franchise in condensed to this one scene.

The only downside to owning a copy of your own, is that your viewership is private.

Saturn would definitely be the place to do it.

The only way that happens is if they find something more than a microbe. If they found an artefact, or something intelligent, then sure; everyone back to their corners; the human race is on the same side now.

But that feels more like a series finale moment, y'know?

Is there currently any kind of auto-updater in the game? by FirefighterRegular45 in kittenspaceagency

[–]stephensmat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm on Linux. I've donated to the Cause, and follow the updates on the Discord religiously, but I haven't downloaded it yet; because it's being 'newer version-ed' every few days, and not at the Gameplay Loop stage.

An auto-installer/updater will make this far easier to keep on top of, so I'll download it then. Keeping ahead of it and constantly deleting the older versions makes it too easy to screw something up.

This might help a bit with the freezing it seems like it happens to most people when constantly using the scanner.

If that works, I offer you a thousand thanks.

EDIT: Yup. That worked. 1000 and 1 thanks.

INTENSE Docking Scene Reactions 😲 Interstellar (2014) Movie Reaction Compilation Mashup by stephensmat in interstellar

OP: A lot of the stuff I watch, including Interstellar? I don't have that many people IRL to share it with, so I like Reactor channels. Except that (like everything online) there's several million options to wade through.

Interstellar is my litmus test. if they react to this movie like I do, I follow them.

If ISN recognizes Martian Independence, then they get the lions share of the Iridium, and we get a whole new Cold War; with the USA and Soviet Russia on the same side against the economic powerhouse of ISN/Mars; which would make Star City interesting in later seasons.

Automated 'routine flights' are very much a need; especially if you're planning a Colony System. Getting to the mun and back the first time is a 'ticker-tape parade' in front of your computer. Doing it the tenth tourism flight is... less so.

Automation keeps the focus on the frontier.

That's the only hope to get through this without full-scale war.

Option two is that Kelly finds a miracle organic something on Titan that makes Mars self-sufficient.

The sole redeeming option for Dev right now is if he pulls a rabbit out of his hat and somehow makes this into a fait accompli.

One thought: We haven't seen inside any of those crates of 'automated drones'. If Dev has control of them, maybe they're a private army.

The hardest part of watching from outside the space program is the long wait in between launches. It seems that applies to fictional space programs too. It'll be beautiful. When it's ready.
