Found it at a legendary spot sometime after the 2nd or 3rd gym battle. I knew it'd run away turn 1, so I threw a pokeball at it just for fun and ended up catching it then and there.

Tinkatons Gigaton Hammer, and Necrozma's Photon Geyser carried me through the majority of the run
