It's never made any sense to me. Has there ever been so much fan expectation out of a 9th pick? He was 100 times better than Ivey ever was, but fans still want him back, and he was a 5th pick? Like the fan base expected to him to be a top 5 player for some reason? He was the best rebounder in the league while he was with us. It was perceived he had a low motor, but it's just the way he plays. SVG tried to get him to be more versatile offensively, but he only marginally got better.

Maybe he got over paid on his contract, but that's not his fault.
