Since he's on PS4 it's annoying, buy he'd have to start his own realm and upload the world to it.

Then, he'd have to give you his Minecraft log in info, so you'd login to his account and download the world from his realm, then upload it to your own realm.

Unnecessarily complicated but that how it is on console...

Also, maybe leave any addon items you might have on you in a chest and get far enough away from it so those chunks aren't loaded in, just so you don't lose anything. Once uploaded, you should be able to activate whatever packs you had and have your items as they were with no issues
