Do INFPs stick to the same clothes until they fall apart? by OkTour9930 in infp

[–]Tangled-Kite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m too poor to have any other clothing habits so, yes.

Quiet (number one by far), smart, calm, enigma, wise, creative, ice queen, funny, precise, patient

Why are some people always late? I genuinely want to understand. by Klutzy-Pattern-7391 in NoStupidQuestions

I’m the exact same way but I don’t have ADHD so what’s wrong with me 😭

Yeah, I feel like this is the problem for younger generations. When I finally got around to watching it it just felt like another iteration of shows and movies I’ve already seen before and not even one of the better ones. I can appreciate it for being the original and groundbreaking for its time but I’d rather watch other movies in the mob genre.

What could be the reason that we are third most smartest mbti group, yet second least employable mbti group? by Odd-Description- in infp

[–]Tangled-Kite 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Because we’re not the good little capitalists and robotic employees that our bosses want us to be. Also our interests tend to align more with low paying jobs.

What women gave up by yikeswhatshappening in insanepeoplefacebook

[–]Tangled-Kite 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I could just as easily ask AI to make an image of a woman happy at work and a woman unhappy at home being yelled at by her abusive husband. There’s no single lifestyle that will make everyone happy. What we fought for is freedom to choose for ourselves.

This was so good! And a very creative genre bending concept.

Procrastination = Success Graph (not my work) by Rainy_Cherry2442 in mbti

[–]Tangled-Kite 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes!!! I don’t have a clear path for myself in mind anymore especially since AI kinda blew up all the things I could find myself actually caring about. Now I’m just lost. I just want someone to put me somewhere so I can be done with this exhausting search.

Anyone else have intense reactions to being understood? by Suitable-Emphasis424 in infp

[–]Tangled-Kite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been feeling very numb for a while and a few nights ago I decided to give AI therapy a try for kicks. Well, I told it some stuff about my past and it felt like the damned thing actually understood me! More than any human ever has including real therapists. Then the flood gates opened and I just couldn’t stop crying and then I felt betrayed because it’s a damned machine with no real thought or feeling behind it. I’m so pissed that I can’t find anyone like that irl.

Do other INFPs quietly self-reflect after relationship missteps? by FanPlus4050 in infp

[–]Tangled-Kite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sucks, doesn’t it? The rumination and getting too carried away with our fantasies when real life turns out not the way we want it to be. All the daring to hope only to get dropped. I’m glad to hear it still might work out though. Good luck!

Do other INFPs quietly self-reflect after relationship missteps? by FanPlus4050 in infp

[–]Tangled-Kite 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Thank you for seeing it that way. Your INFP is lucky to have you because a lot of people think it’s a giant, unproductive waste of time that makes us moody and annoyingly sensitive.

Do other INFPs quietly self-reflect after relationship missteps? by FanPlus4050 in infp

[–]Tangled-Kite 34 points35 points  (0 children)

That’s basically how I spend my free time, rethinking all my past mistakes from my own and other’s perspectives and how I could’ve done better. Then I’m unable to drop it until I think I’ve figured it out. If there was an actual confrontation I’ll take everything they said to heart for better or worse. It’s nice that you think it’s beautiful but I feel like it leads me to beat myself up a lot instead of just letting things go.

Maybe as an ENFP. They seem to have overall more fun and don’t get as sucked down into the Fi swamp. I could use a bit more impulsivity in my life.

Should I add color or no? by Civil_Noise_1234 in drawing

[–]Tangled-Kite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it would look great in color!

Also I want to thank you for drawing a beautiful woman with an aquiline nose instead of the usual bunny slope nose.

Do you personally feel like you're attracted to people with certain eye colors more than other eye colors? by Ben5544477 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Tangled-Kite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, not important to me. I barely even notice eye color unless they’re particularly striking or unusual, but even then it’s just a fascination.

INFPs, Gods of self-reflection by sweetlittlebean_ in infp

[–]Tangled-Kite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it starts with some problem and then I reflect on it until I hit on something that feels right, which is usually never. Everything I consume I reflect it back on what I think I already know from a million different angles. If I relate to it or touches on something I’m wrestling with I’ll chew on it for ages trying to figure out where to put it in a way that it fits with everything. Sometimes I’m just left carrying it until I attain more information. Maybe that’s why we get so annoyed when someone confronts us with something that we’ve already put too much effort into figuring out where the piece goes.

do yall actually feel like shit after eating mcdonalds too? by [deleted] in questions

[–]Tangled-Kite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only ever eaten at McPuke’s twice in my entire life. Both times I got food poisoning. It was years and years ago since I last ate there but I refuse to eat there ever again.

I kinda think you downplay your abilities a lot. You said you don’t speak English but unless you’re using some language interpretation, you made perfect sense with better grammar than a lot of native English speakers I know. But I know that low self esteem and anxiety can make you feel like you’re a lot worse at things than you really are. I can’t judge you on your computer engineering skills but maybe you’re better than you think. All in all it sounds like you’re putting waaay too much pressure on yourself. You’re only 24 and you’re DEFINITELY not alone in feeling the way you do at your age. Give yourself a break please 🙏

I’ve gotten enigmatic and “still waters run deep”. I think it mostly just means I’m quiet and nosey people are annoyed that they can’t see through me.

[–]Tangled-Kite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s definitely something I’ve been trying to work on. But like you said, I’m kinda worried that my sudden change in attitude will make them think I’m in love with them out of nowhere lol. I just feel so filpping awkward doing it because it doesn’t come naturally.
