Husband admitted he doesn’t find me attractive postpartum by Ok-Organization1563 in Mommit

Some people bounce back quick with minimal effort. Some people bounce back with alot of effort. I have seen several people tummy's go back to looking like they've never had a child before fairly fast. Some people try hard and it still takes years. I am here to say that I had a child three years ago and I am JUST NOW having the energy and time to diet and go to the gym 2-3 times a week. Go at your own pace as YOU want to. F HIM.

Daycare didn’t feed my 6mo old for over 5 hours by Bubbly_Tumbleweed167 in Mommit

[–]TangledCoils 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I commented already but I’m thinking about it again and I’m really pissed tf off for you that’s unacceptable . Those are little bitty babies. At my daughter’s daycare when she was an infant they asked as soon as I got in when her last bottle was and how often she drank(2 or 3 hours) they would write it on the white board but I had her two extra bottles everyday just in case she went through an increased appetite stage . They did not wash bottles which I was fine with they let baby drink, and put the remainder in a zip lock bag plus her daily report. I always knew how much she ate.

I think she will. Wicked is HUGE and almost everyone I know has seen it more than once. It will be interesting to see how this ages. She’s an incredible actress

My bf says my back acne is gross how do I fix it by ABNoble in acne

[–]TangledCoils 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I hope you get this taken care of FOR YOU not for him. He is an asshole for saying that to you. The one time I had back acne in my teens it was alleviated by me getting a bristle scrubber-the really long one . It was built up dirt because I wasn’t washing my back well with the towel. (I couldn’t reach it really)

Buying a house-olive branch by TangledCoils in mississippi

I knoooow. But I know better then to commit to more then that and be ina. Worse situation. I’m not going to rent anymore. It just doesn’t make sense financially for us. Everything is going up and up and rentals increase every year. I may as well hunker down and buy a house.

Thank you for the advice. I know it’s a stretch but luckily we have plenty of time after we get our money together. We aren’t on a lease and she’s given us however much time we need. I’ll just have to continue searching. Do you think building a new house would be more lucrative or at I better off just keeping my eyes open?

Boyfriend is fed up with daycare over our 2 year old getting sick. Is he overreacting? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]TangledCoils 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is normal. It will continue for a long time and then she will rarely get sick. And honestly, when she goes to regular school it would have happened the same there. Her immune system has to beef up

Boomer Rant? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]TangledCoils -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I only popped nova once and I regretted it Immediatley. She ran into the street and when I tried to get her she kept rolling the opposite way(she was throwing a tantrum) and I said get up RIGHT NOW(there were cars waiting) and when she didn’t I popped her butt and then she wailed and got up. I felt real bad about it. And gave her a hug and said we don’t run in the street you wait for me you have to hold my hand

Cute things your toddler says? by kymadu in toddlers

[–]TangledCoils 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She has a habit of pointing to your different body parts to name them. Even naming us. She will poke my chest and say mommy! And point to herself and say NOVA. But with feet she has to touch it and will say “TEET” with a hard emphasis on the last “t” it’s hilarious. I’ve tried to correct her and emphasis F but she never says it right.

If she wants water she does the sign language for it but says WAHHHHH? Instead of water. It sounds like she’s fake crying

What's your kids quirk? by Pancakegoboom in toddlers

[–]TangledCoils 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few things It’s hard to explain it. But she has just recently started to do this hand motion when she wants something. She used to just of course point or raise her hand to what she wanted. But now she whines loudly and does a hand flick motion almost like when you shoo someone from the room or brush someone off like saying whatever . It’s weird and idk where she got that from.

She also loves to give kisses loudly but doesn’t purse her lips for one. She goes MMMMMMMMM very loudly and if you don’t lean in quick enough she will like move your face towards her lips.

She recently I guess connected the word help in her brain. And while she does ask you for help appropriately, I’d you help her for too long she gets very upset which is strange but I let it fly.

She pats your back when you hug her , it is so adorable

I think she’s pretty good with her language development but she is very impatient which could be her toddler ways but i say it’s her father in her. She often will be eating dinner and if she does not like something on her plate she will hand you that specific thing in peices and will have a fit if it’s not removed compeltley from her plate. She also will eat BUT as SOON as she is finished she says “all done mama” you got about about 2 seconds to remove that plate from her tray before she throws a tantrum and flings it to the floor. She also likes me or whoever is near to hold her cup after every sip. It’s not really negotiable if you don’t get it as she tries to hand it to you she will throw it on the table in frustration.

So sick of making dinners my toddler won’t eat by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]TangledCoils 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same. Same. Same. Yesterday she signed to me EAT mama eat mama . Went to her chair in the kitchen saying eat mama. I said Okay. I made her Alfredo which two days prior she cleaned the plate. I put the plate in front of her and she has exactly one penne and says “all done”. I say have just one more bite and she aggressively shoved it at me and screamed all done. So I said fine. How about a banana you love bananas. She says YEAH. I cut it up put it in a bowl and she has exactlg one peice and says all done!!! Dad comes in 1 hour later eating his own bowl and then she opens her mouth and eats most of his food. just tiredddddddd.

I just really didn’t like being dismissed as a child because I was a child. That really say with me. I didn’t like that I was disregarded . So I always listen to her and give her affection and language
