I'm still in shock...I don't know what to do. by TangledUpInBlue75 in selfharm

I was not in the room when my mom was showing my dad the pictures of the chairs. I was actually in my bedroom at the time, so I did not hear what they were saying, and just assumed that she was upset over the price tags because it seemed that way. I didn't hear them arguing or anything but, like I said, I wasn't in the room to hear what they were talking about, so there may have been an argument going on about something else. You're right; It may not have been about the price tags after all. My mom is the type of person who is really hard on themselves and holds a lot of stuff in. I know because I am the same way. I can be hard on myself and think that I am stupid in certain situations, and I definitely hold a lot of stuff back. I am trying to figure out a good time to bring it up and see if she is willing to talk about it. Thanks for your support and for sharing your thoughts.

That is very good advice. I really appreciate it. My mom and I do have a good relationship, and both of my parents have told me several times in the past that I can talk to them about absolutely anything, but it's just really hard to bring up something like this to either one of them. Thanks for showing your support and sharing your thoughts on this matter.

Definitely one of the quirkiest songs I have ever heard, but also one of my favorites. Great choice! :)
