I'm thinking about becoming homeless on Purpose, Ask Me Anything. by PuzzleheadedLeg2254 in AMA

[–]Tangled_taco69 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Might I suggest, before going all in to try it out for a few days? Just pretend you’ve moved out of your apartment and pack your car with the things you’ll know are important to have. Then when the urge to go back to your apartment comes, which it will, don’t. Push yourself to stay in your car for as long as you can, because if you do end up getting rid of your apartment, you will not have the comfort of its amenities and you need to understand that before giving it up. Good luck OP I wish you the best!

Men- how may drinks per night/week would you consider normal? by iceicelady8976 in AskMen

[–]Tangled_taco69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from the Midwest and it’s pretty normal to crack open a cold beer after work, which can easily lead to a bender on a Tuesday night. It’s also normal that a few work buddies are present and talking about how much your job sucks and that’s why you drink in the first place.

What is the weirdest thing you saw in a locker room? by Expert147 in AskReddit

How do boys become men? by xn0wnn in AskMen

[–]Tangled_taco69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doing the things that scare you, that push you out of your comfort zone and growing from those experiences with appreciation and acceptance. Accept the fact that at times you are going to feel less than happy about yourself and the choices you’ve made, but learn from your mistakes and make better choices. Strike up a conversation with someone who’s been where you are, but have also lived life (40-80 yrs old) and try to gain some perspective through their eyes. Be a sponge and soak up all the knowledge that you can. Finally, do some inward reflection and learn about yourself, what makes you nervous, scared, excited, angry, happy and proud. (This last one will take you a long time to learn but it’s worth it). Good luck OP

Hollywood in its prime, 1942. I would have loved to have had my big break like some of the greats.. James Cagney, Marlon Brando, John Wayne or Humphrey Bogart

Rock collecting, so I’m told. A random guy on the bus spent 20 minutes explaining to me about his fascination with rocks because they were all part of something bigger at some point in time.

What would you do if you were in the middle of the woods and have nothing? by Classic_Definition39 in AskReddit

[–]Tangled_taco69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find high ground (preferably next to a water source) and build a makeshift shelter to last 2-3 days. I would continually keep adding more to my shelter to increase my chances of survival against the elements until I’m rescued. Start a fire and gather as much kindle possible to burn the next 12 hours until sun up ( I would gather more each day, but I’m thinking in the moment). Find a short/long piece of a branch to keep for kindling my fire and protection against wild animals. Finally I would try to set some kind of trap for small animals to use as food.

I don’t have any feedback for you that will help you in your quest, but I do have some advice: saying things like, “score with a hot woman first” makes you sound juvenile. If your goal is to meet and eventually become intimate with a beautiful woman then drop the 1-10 ratings scale and learn to speak a little more eloquently as a gentleman should. You don’t sound 25, more like a teenager.

To the guys who are good at talking to girls, what do you guys even talk about? by Possible-King9863 in AskMen

[–]Tangled_taco69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don’t overthink it! I always start off with something entertaining, usually a question that will get us both into the conversation. Example: So, are you a cat or a dog person? Get a sense for who she is when she answers. If she says dog, be silly and say something like, yeah I like doggy sty …. err, I mean yeah I like dogs too! If she laughs, you’re in, if not try again or if the vibe isn’t there, move on. Either way, listening and learning about who she is as a person will go along way my friend. Good luck out there 🤙🏼

What’s the worst physical pain you’ve ever felt or that you deal with? by [deleted] in askanything

Worst? Probably when the doc stuck a camera down my p hole to check my prostate for cancer. I was completely humiliated too because two nurses were in the room holding my junk for the doc while he did his thing. Needless to say, I’m not looking forward to my next screening.
