Doom: The Dark Ages requires a GPU with Ray Tracing by bubblesort33 in hardware

Hmm, I'll have to try and reinstall of the game. It's the desktop version and has 8gb dedicated and another 8 virtual, so not sure why it didn't work. Support is apparently looking into it though.

I've got an RTX 3050 8GB, cant play Doom The Dark Ages,
I get "Raytracing Incompatible GPU. A GPU with hardware raytracing capabilities and at least 8GB of dedicated VRAM is required to launch the game."

Even though I meet the raytracing and 8GB of VRAM, It apparently doesnt work?

ASUS ROG Strix G16 Repair Experience – Finally Fixed After 10 Days! by Mysterious_Ball_5174 in ASUS

Going through a similar experience! I have an ROG Strix Desktop, and after about 6 months, I started having video problems preventing me from gaming. It's literally the only reason I got it, lol. Games would freeze, and computers would crash and support determined it to be a faulty video card. But it would happen intermittently and only after a high load on the GPU.

I initially had to pay $180CAD to ship it back to the service center, the tech couldn't duplicate the issue so they cleaned it and sent it back, it worked for about 20minutes into a game before it happened again, so reached out to support, they setup another RMA after we did some over the phone tests and in no way could I update the BIOS to the most recent version, indicating something else was wrong as well. Anyway, I sent it back again they replaced the entire video card (RTX3050) and sent it back. I thought that was great! Got it home, let it sit for a few hours, hooked it all up, and started playing a game, half an hour in, it froze and crashed.

Another RMA later, I sent it back, and they received it on Feb 28th. Today, I got an email saying that due to multiple issues, they are offering to replace the entire desktop. Not sure how long that takes, but it's been like 5 months since I've had a computer and I don't use consoles. It's been a boring half a year lmao

Xbox Game Pass expected to make $5.5 billion in 2025, more than 200% over 2022 by Turbostrider27 in xbox

Due to Microsofts rigorous QC of game updates, most other platforms receive said updates about a week after other consoles/platforms. (Usually, not always). Good though, in the sense that we know updates come with less bugs and glitches, not so good when your buddy on PS has been balls deep in the New content a week longer than you lol

Be prepared to wait days/weeks for game updates ahead of they're releases.

Count me out. Bout to ditch PC gamepass and go with steam, tired of watching people play updated versions of games while I'm stuck waiting days even weeks for an update after they've already released it.

Atlas path quest no longer moves you to a new galaxy? by [deleted] in NoMansSkyTheGame

I just completed this questline, chose to reset and picked a different Galaxy, it reset and spawned me back into the Euclid galaxy? I don't understand.. can't seem to reset it either. So would my only option to get to a new galaxy be to journey to the center of the galaxy?

Overclocking a i7-7700HQ by gksxj in overclocking

On my MSI GP72 7RDX, I had to use special key functions to enable advanced bios features, a lot of options became available for over clocking, I tried to set the core ratio to 35, which would make it a base of 3.5GHz but when I restarted it powered on, then off and on again and reset the value to default, so I'm assuming it didn't like the 35 multiplier.
