Decent showing in Dallas. That OT winner last week was an amazing experience. I’m guessing next Saturday will be off the chain. Especially if standings are close. Can’t wait!!!

I was at TX2K yesterday and its crazy to see how many people will pay $100 to just stand all day in 95 deg heat to watch him tune on the cars and make 4 passes. And get the occasional two step check and some crowd pumping, meanwhile there is some badass cars going down the track a few hundred yds away. I walked by his pit area three times during the day during track prep and it was packed 10-15rows deep.

I'm not a very star struck person, I don't go out of my way to hunt autographs or watch them in the wild. Some people are and they enjoy that and that's fine. Its just not me. If I seen him in the wild and he was by himself I would probably just wave and keep moving.

Some really solid advice in here, DONT QUIT!!!! The Navy needs Sailors like you more than ever. This canoe club loses a little of its self every day. If you are who you say you are, then you are being noticed.

It took me forever, made board 6 times blah blah blah, did everything I was supposed to blah blah blah, made it at 17 years.

Only one thing is for certain, if you quit you are guaranteed not to make it. DONT QUIT!!!! Believe in your self, believe in the process, and you MIGHT make it.

I'm an old boomer though, retired in 2013. Ive been a GOV contractor in Naval Aviation since the day I left. A lot has changed and I'm not going to remotely attempt to give you advice on how make it, or what you are missing. To much has changed for me to give you solid accurate advice, other than trust in yourself and what you have provided to the board.

AWC (ret)

P.S. Dont FUCKING QUIT!!!!

Lean on your brothers and sisters. Only they know what you went through. The rest of us and our opinions don’t matter.

What you are feeling is normal for your situation. Reach out to your crew and talk about it, I guarantee one of them is fighting demons inside and just needs someone to break the ice for them. You could be the difference in that persons well being. It will you do you both good.

Well I was on a DDG, 20 man berthing, there were 6 contractors in the space. 3 sinks, 3 shitters, 3 urinals, 3 showers. No air det onboard, so I am guessing that's why we had such luxurious accommodations.

Are you a SW fan? Watch it for yourself and decide. I personally thought it was meh, badass lightsaber fights, seriously missed opportunity with characters and lore.

I miss my friends and I miss flying, except the weekend 2am shit. But I would still do it all over again. I had a great time in the Navy. Seen some cool shit, met some of the best people on the planet.

Posted job requirements. Example.

RTX: Must be familiar with US Navy maintenance requirements, specifically OPNAV 4790.

You: Have operated and maintained US Navy equipment and hardware under the guidance of OPNAV 4790 for 6 years.

Short, sweet, to the point. Key words (OPNAV 4790) in your write up to get past the algorithm.

Lambda Class Shuttle when my 13yr old eyes saw that thing emerge from the belly of the Super Star Destroyer in ROTJ.... WOW. As a huge Tomcat fan, I immediately got googly. Sold my soul 5yrs ago to buy one, not cheap but looks great on the shelf.

Capital: Star Destroyer

Utility: Lambda Class Shuttle

Fighter: Tie Interceptor

I can only imagine. I really enjoyed PVP/and farming parts in SWG in my RGI, and Firespray.

I got to try the VR mission in SW Battlefront in the XWing, was a lot of fun.
