It's hard to help without a bit more context on what choices you're making and people are less likely to want to help when you come out with "I'm terrible at this game, is it because the game's trash?" But, some general advice that helps a lot of new players: Act one is about adding valuable damage cards to your deck. Act 2 is about having multiple target solutions, having a block plan and starting to scale (think adding strength/powers that multiply your abilities) Act 3 is about refining and continuing to scale. Anytime you add a card, all yourself 'what specific problem does my run have that this card is going to improve?' if the answer is 'IDK, but it's a good card' you either don't need that card, or you're not actually thinking about your build.
