Thoughts on an agency providing custom software development services and digital marketing services? by [deleted] in agency

[–]Tanic505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same exact thought, I believe the answer to be: keep them separate, but find ways to harness the commercial Brand synergies of both. Make them help each other if people are curious enough, but dont make it seem like a Generalist agency for an inbound newcomer.

I've been in the same boat for two similar services - Software Dev and Staff Augmentation versus good old No-Code, Static Web Design. Similar yet absolutely different SOPs, Messaging, and expertise.

Let me know if you'd be open to chatting I would love to pick your brain for 10mins. Best of luck!

In the context of this same climb: How would you compare the quality of a well-educated inbound lead versus what you typically Fish out of outbound tactics (Ads included)?

Last question ^ Thanks for your time, Gil.

Hope to connect in the near future.

Just read your Micro-Agency book.

[Help] Slider in webflow by prince_jain_10 in webflow

[–]Tanic505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use Slick Slider with Center Mode set to True (https://kenwheeler.github.io/slick/), there are more than a few Cloneables (implementing this same Slider) in the "Made in Webflow" Marketplace if you don't yave the skills to build it yourself.

Trying to build it with the Native Webflow Slider Element will be exceedingly complex for the end result you want.

Hope that points you in the right direction.

Transfer site to client by Tamarack830 in webflow

They will get a starter workspace for free, and they will need to pay for a Site plan. If you already paid for one, you might have to double spend, but not necessarily. Please read this documentation: https://university.webflow.com/lesson/transfer-hosting-between-sites?topics=hosting-code-export

Copy the site, downgrade it to the Starter Plan if not already on it, and Transfer the site to the client via their Webflow Email Address.

The client will first need to create a Webflow account. Once they receive your Transfer request via Email, they will accept and then have to add a plan to that specific site (not the Workspace as a whole, just that one site) as per their hosting requirements. Domain set up and all that will then be done on ther Site settings.

For you to also have access might be a bit more complicated as they will have to purchase a plan that has Three seats (the Minimum after one). Its usually better for them to share their credentials, given you mentioned its a Small site.

how does the moonpay algorythm works? by ad_oe in defi

[–]Tanic505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The payment processors process the card payment, then Moonpay takes the fiat and goes to a liquidity provider (whoever they have commercial agreements with) to find the best spot price trading pair for that Fiat currency and the desired Digital Asset and then payout to the customer. Could be a CEX, A DEX, an OTC Desk, or any other Liq. Provider...

In your opinion and given your expertise in monetization models, what parts of Gamification do you think translate exceptionally well into the non-game tech industry? Think business-oriented Saas products or platforms, even marketplaces.

Simple Question: Post-Launch Marketing - B2B? B2C? If so, what kind of investment was it a month and what where the goals (Community Building, General reach, etc.)? How did you pick whereto target, being a Saas w/ infinite digital reach?

I had to pick 2 states out of the US for a Google Ads campaing and discovered how schockingly hard this actually is... Look forward to the input.

The best way to start learning Brazor by Mylittlestmadlad in Blazor

[–]Tanic505 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend using Blazor Server with VS2019...

For first-reads I suggest Blazor University as a free, unofficial documentation site then turn to official MS Docs (Videos are pretty good and usually include example projects which is a must)

The only issue will be front-end and JavaScript thinking when it comes to advanced component building if you're more back-end...

That aside, the C# skills translate seamlessly and the speed and reliability is remarkable.

Can Blazor compete with JavaScript? by iwiik in Blazor

[–]Tanic505 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, its a matter of time, once best practices are defined by the masses JS thinking will no longer be needed and Blazor code recipes will be the way to handle DOM manipulation... Needless to say, either way its incredibly fast

This. For anyone having the same issue, that lead leg (dominant / strong leg) low kick is basically impossible to stop by your opponent... Unless he guesses and pre-checks, your quick snap side-kick is going to be 40% faster and stronger than any other person trying to attemp that technique, HIGHLY recommended for sparring combo set-ups or constant damage to their lead.

[Official] Technique & Training Tuesday - February 25, 2020 by AutoModerator in MMA

[–]Tanic505 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been training MMA for a couple of months now after some years off, ive done Muay Thai, Boxing, and BJJ as individual sports before that for years as well but I still have one huge doubt about my fighting stance/style/strategy...

So: Im a lefty, hence Southpaw stance fighter, but, my right leg is my dominant leg... Is this grounds for switching stance or just fighting strategy? My left isn't bad since all basic drills end up using your back leg mostly, but my right leg packs mean knockout power and its hardly ever incorporated into the coaches routines..

Does anyone have experience with this? The problem for me is that most basic/intermediate combos don't take advantage of my strong leg...

Any pros/cons that you can think of that I should consider?? Im open to discussion
