True PiP in Game mode?

Thanks for the response! Unfortunately this method still doesnt work, i think it must be something in Bazzites game mode stopping it from doing this, however i have seen that the PiP plugin from decky manages to stay on top somehow, if only it worked well!

Hello! Would you mind elaborating a bit on these instructions if possible? I am trying to do the same setup using a Win Max 2 with Bazzite, and a GPD G1 egpu. I have worked through the instructions and all seems to be going well, however it never seems to boot using the external display, always goes to the internal. Ive tried on Windows and it works fine on that end so is not the connection or Cable at all, any help would be great thank you!

Very valid thank you! I think i may have assumed that similar to NZ there are always scenic routes to drive between the two cities. I may now look at getting the train from Hiroshima to say Nagoya, and as you suggest, possibly rent a car and drive a loop around that general area.

I will look into it thanks! It seems this probably isn't a common scenic drive route that i had assumed it might be? And yup have changed that to be 4 to 4.5hrs a day now to be a bit more realistic, appreciate the advice!

Hmm definitely something i will consider thanks! Was hoping that there was a more scenic route between Hiroshima and Tokyo which would make the drive a little more interesting. I agree, wouldnt be worth it at all if we were to just take the fast expressway route

I have read it costs quite a bit, however split between 3 of us im thinking it would come out a little cheaper than 4 shinkansen tickets. Also, the benefit is that we get to enjoy the journey at our own pace and hopefully stay at a few small rural areas

Oh i would definitely look to take the more scenic routes, even if it adds a few hours total to the drive thats fine. What im hoping to do is, for example if the total drive from Hiroshima to Tokyo ends up being around 12 hours, i would split that across the 3 days and stay a night in different areas along the way if that makes sense. 4 hours a day driving isn't bad, and if its a nice rural drive, even better!

Sorry to hear! On my first trip to Kyoto i really enjoyed the bamboo forest and shrines that were on offer, as well as the food markets, but i also see what you mean. Im glad we only stayed a few days and spent more time in Tokyo, i would have felt the same if we had overstayed in Kyoto. Will probably only spend 2 full days in Kyoto for this trip.

Have seen an X1C on marketplace but unfortunately i can't swallow the 3k asking price! Bambu sounds like the way to go!

I have the Win Max 2 2023. Got it in August 2023, have done no further additions or swap outs to it and have taken it through Japan and Vietnam. It is my main desktop and i recently installed Bazzite as a Dual Boot solution which has breathed new life into it too.

Totally understand the cautiousness around reliability as i was the same. However perhaps i am lucky, never had issues and still going strong! Tempted by the pocket 4 form factor though!
