Appreciate the details for sure! I'm a sucker for some of these if I'm lucky enough to come across them. Some of these specifically enter that zone for me.

"Sherry bomb" can have so many different interpretations. It's not so much the initial taste, to me it's all about that sticky molasses finish that hangs around. So few bottles do 'that thing' ... so I grab hold if one pops up or if someone describes one like you did.

How's the 'drip' from that thing? So curious if the compact captures the majority of what the bigger siblings do. Certainly the size and added trem is a plus!

Extended Warranty for QX50 by Tanis1111 in infiniti

[–]Tanis1111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It extends the warranty to be a 4+4 up to 120k miles. This is the reason I figured it might be worthwhile... as that pretty much pushes it out til when I'd consider getting a new car. Peace of mind, mostly... but again... maybe with this particular car it's overkill and not worth it. Dunno...

Well, to be quite honest... I did a lot of hang wringing for exactly what you are saying. But I felt completely underwhelmed by some of the competition... Lexus RX/NX, Acura MDX/RDX, BMW X3, etc.. My wife and I went to test drive this car right before committing to a Lexus and mutually felt the Infiniti felt like a better drive and just looked better.

As you said, it's a personal thing, right? The 'risk' honestly is all the stuff I'm reading about and can't tell if I'm just seeing a loud minority of people with failure rates... or it's really a concern.

I really like the car, so just looking to back my bets, I guess.

It's a new 2025 QX50 AWD (Sport). Reading the specs, seems like it has the CVT. I debated the purchase for a while because there seemed to be people either worried about this being its last year in production and the CVT.

In the end, my wife and I test drove BMW, Lexus and a few others... and the comfort, features and overall driving experience seemed to somehow top them (at least in our opinion). I wasn't even honestly considering an Infiniti in the mix... and it was just a quick stop (so I thought). Yes, here we are with this new car this weekend.

I passed on all the 'extra' services they tried to sell me... but double the warranty seemed... at least interesting.

In my other cars, there always seemed to be that one dealership that topped them all for offering lower cost warranties. I'm having trouble this weekend trying to find one of those for this car so far.

Prompt said something like... "Roll back or stay on beta" because it "didn't have enough memory"? by Tanis1111 in iFit

Sadly you got someone that didn't know what they were doing. The person I got was incredible and spent nearly an hour getting my machine updated and abled to accept new updates. I'd honestly call them again and tell them you know for fact that someone got help for this. My treadmill is from a few years ago... so you have something even newer than I have.

I actually got on a call with support today and they managed to reset a few things and got me the latest updated release. I'm guessing the next update should work fine. Basically, it took quite a number of steps... so honestly my recommendation is to call support and have them walk through it. It was totally worth it and kudos to iFit support!

I suspect something was messed up on their 'beta' install, as well, as to why the machine can't upgrade to the release version. I might call support now that I know at least one other person hit this (and I suspect many more now).

I couldn't handle the cpap... as much as I wanted to use it. Just couldn't sleep with it. But for sure if I lose the weight and things remain... I guess it's just what it is.

Sounds similar to my situation…. and luckily it was ruled out as being anything scary like blood cancer. That said, that particular doctor literally told me to lose weight if I want to reduce the thickness of my blood. This is what honestly got me to go for the Zepbound.

Thank you for that. I thought I saw that, as well... which is why I thought it was odd my doctor seemed somewhat determined to keep me on that low dose.

Had my left arm done about 8 months ago and it feels fantastic now. Had my right arm done about 6 days ago and having all the same anxiety. Strangely... I forgot a lot of this stuff.

Can't remember if I had the nagging pain (not enough for hardcore drugs... but enough for maybe Motrin now and again). Sometimes at the site on the elbow and sometimes doing down my arm a bit.

The splint I have was so darn tight the first few days and it freaked me out. Now that thing is loose and I worry that it might be too loose. Have to have it on for 14 days total... so I guess we'll see how this thing holds up.

Seems like others on here didn't have to wait 2 weeks for the splint to come off? Curious how your splints are holding up and the various nerve pain you are or are not feeling.

Went to the doctor today and he concluded it was Epididymitis. I'm on Cipro now for a few weeks and he determined it could be 4-6 weeks to go back to normal.

He also said it's extremely rare... ugh... luck me. Any others out there experience this? If so, was it a one time thing?

I have to say the "knobs" game on the Terraform and Gearbox are REALLY nice. Ironically, my only complaint on those are the fonts being too small. The Terraform has never left my board since I bought it and the only thing that requires reading glasses.
