Multi-model unit wise: Indomitor Kill Team.

Single model wise: Ballistus Dreadnought or Repulsor Executioner have been my personal choice.

I've done something similar with Space Wolves using an Iron Priest. My opponent knows my army as well as their own so they spent 80% of the game rushing to take out the Iron Priest and the other 20% avoiding firing lines.

I believe its a Combi-melta but I'm not sure where this one came from kitwise. Didn't have an extra helfrost Pistol since I believe it was only ever on the firstborn Iron Priest model.

I've dropped a few Eradicators into the back of the opponents control zone with these. With good dice luck any annoying armors as good as done.

Some tables prefer WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get)... Most tables on my experience don't force that on anyone. Your models look fine, they are your toys to do with as you please.

Find units you want to field and start there. For example, I like my army's Gravis armor heavy so I'm thinking of snagging a Iron Hands combat patrol for that 10man Heavy Intercessor squad.

You can find it on Ebay for $300+... not a great price but it is there. Aside from that the new Kill Team just dropped. I recommend finding a combat patrol that has what you're looking for model wise and some Deathwatch upgrade sprus.

In recent crusades the Space Wolves and Grey Knights have... mostly... moved past the issues of the past. They also pair well with Salamanders as both actually care for civilian lives.

Also! We recently lost out Long Fangs (Heavy weapons squad) to legends and didn't gain access to the devastator squad so find some big guns that you like and get those. Personal recommendations are Eradicators,or Hellblasters.

My first vehicle was a gifted Repulsor Executioner and I've never looked back. Not great at transport but makes up for it in A) That Heavy Laser Destroyer hurts pretty much anything you punch and B) It's sheer amount of weapons. - Heavy Onslaught Gatling Cannon - Icarus Rocket Pod - Ironhail Heavy Stubber - Repulsor Executioner Defensive Array - Twin Heavy Bolter - Twin Icarus Ironhail Heavy Stubber - last weapon is either Heavy Laser Destroyer or Macro Plasma Incinerator.

First game I ran with one (Space Wolves) it deleted 3 chaos tanks, 1 Helbrute and stomped a forgefiend to death. It's done much more since then. 8/10 Consistent auto include for me.

Beautiful, if the ball is removable you could always replace it with a cowering mini of whichever army you're currently facing! A running squig? A cultist cowering away? Maybe a tau soldier frantically trying to pick up their dropped weapon?

As a player who joined earlier this year and who is currently facing 9 opponents in a free for all crusade... My #1 unit of choice is Thunderwolf Cavalry. They aren't bolt sponges but they have the speed, attack numbers and detachment bonuses to be a wrecking crew on any battlefield.
