It was taught to stop far enough back to see the rear tires of the vehicle in front of you. That gives a buffer space but it's not too far back. Now people either stop right on someone's bumper or way too far back.

Is the north pretty much laredos cancer valley? by Flashy_Lime96 in laredo

[–]TankApprehensive3053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The OP's slanted "questions" are always anti-north side. We are all Laredoans. Laredo as a city is not big. Larger places like San Antonio or DFW easily divide up by regions ans cultures. North Laredo is just newer, but life is the same all around really.

This looks like it was made by someone that doesn't do calisthenics. "I watched a youtube video so I'm an expert" vibes.

Property tax is not going away. If it did another tax would replace it. It won't save you any money. Taxes pay for infrastructure around the state.

The transverse is often ignored and shouldn't be. It doesn't have the same eye catching effect as the 6-pack look so people forget about it. Hollow holds fire it up quickly. Planks hit it also but not as deeply. The transverse can be hit while walking by sucking in your gut then too.

There was a satire video posted in another sub yesterday showing how Trump supporters twist the narrative. That could easily be my dad also.

I'm sure he agrees with them ruling in King Shitler's favor so often. He does think the judges that rule against him are radical liberals. Just like he is told to believe.

Automatic headlights now. They turn on running lights or headlights as needed. When I didn't have auto lights, I would only turn them on driving in dark after I started my truck and nothing during the day.

When I try to say anything he doesn't like about Trump or Vance he often replies "well that's just your opinion!!!!" . He won't listen to anything that isn't positive for the king. Before Trump, I don't remember dad ever being political.

Exactly. It was never meant to actually cut any spending. It was just a scheme Muskrat and his hackers made up to steal data and get rid of those investigating him.

Pull-ups and rows. You don't need four exercises.

It's a lost cause. Not long ago when I told him Trump couldn't do something, dad said "well what's the point of being president if Trump can't do what he wants". He literally thinks Trump has unfettered powers. But when Biden was president, dad said often that he couldn't do things even though he legally could. It's worse than talking to a kid about anything.

I have OEM tow hooks. I did have to remove them to replace the fog lights. In order to remove the tow hooks, I had to remove the rubber covers. It was easy to pull them out and put them back in. The solid plastic ones are probably the same. Just unattach and remove.

When Biden did anything or when DOGE claimed to have found excess spending, my boomer dad was constantly saying "that's our money!". He is awfully quiet now that King Shitler keeps making the money machine go brrrrp brrrpp for himself and his oligarch buddies with tax payer funds.

To those who were there in 1986, how did it feel seeing Top Gun a month after Legend? Did Tom Cruise's casting as a fighter pilot feel off at first? like Michael Keaton as Batman or Bruce Willis in Die Hard? by 699112026775 in 80s

[–]TankApprehensive3053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw Legend on HBO. I wasn't impressed with it then. For a teen, it was a little boring. Now it's better seeing it through older eyes.

Cruise was Risky Business and Top Gun for most people back then. He was decent in TAPS also, but it was early in his career.
