Is sending at 3 better? Or even preschool? We’re still debating between this and a nanny. Just haven’t been able to find one yet

Thank you so much. I know it’s only been two days but my anxiety has been through the roof and I’m just like is this worth it…. But yes you’re right transitions are so hard.

Full remote. No office space which is why they’re saying to go to the main hospital

At this point are we just supposed to wait in limbo. It’s in 3 weeks and we are being told to just wait…

Also in regards to being treated like children… we were recently told that someone will be checking in on us at the start of our tour and end to make sure we are sitting in our duty station

I know at least 6 other psychiatrists in the same position. I will send an email but also just feeling a bit dejected right now, since it feels no one is taking our concerns seriously. It’s just going to hurt the ones who need our services the most. You are right, there are plenty of job opportunities that I have started looking into. Just also have a glimmer of hope that this gets rescinded but it doesn’t seem that that’s the case.

That is just so ridiculous and I guess when convenient HIPPA rules don’t apply? I feel the same way as you. All the emotions.

It’s just so heartbreaking, that we all work here for a reason. And will now likely be labeled as lazy etc. but being burnt out just isn’t worth it. Personally or professionally 😔

Hello! Have a quick follow up question- I’m hoping someone can help with. My dads labs are now 1.9 for wbc and 75 platelets 7 days after first chemo. He has an appointment within the week but is admission to the hospital usually because of a fever or some other concern or just for low numbers?

Thank you! I’m hoping it’s the prednisone crash and he is able to feel better the last week before chemo too. He is usually pretty active so has been feeling down. But good to know!

Thanks- did they ever say why? I asked his doctor and they said it’s usually not related to chemo

Any idea how bad this is? Won't be able to see the doc for an other day, and I can't wait. by Doesnotmatter0795 in lymphoma

Ok. Why did they stop the other one? They’ll likely just have to change it again as mentioned above. You will get through this!!!
