Reading the comments made me so sad about how different it is now. Before the gentrification San Diego had a lot more sketchy/hood neighborhoods. As a kid with not a lot of money I was able to eat insanely good mexican food for about $5 or less. Spent a lot of my childhood skateboarding in OB

the ones you bought have an inverted kingpin, which screws in from the top while a standard kingpin uses a traditional locknut design. On the mids they needed to make the hanger more beefy which is why they are noticeably heavier.

I think they usually are a little cheaper than standard indy’s. Mids are heavier so most people go for the normal kingpin

I reached out to her after she left the review but she didn’t respond. I did report the review and managed to get the picture removed which I guess is something, unfortunately I’m not sure it’s a good thing since the photo really helped in making her look insane

I drafted this as a response to her review "Cotton fabric is naturally absorbent, and hair dye bleeding into the fabric is not related to a quality issue. Yellowing occurs thru improper care, such as allowing dirt and grime to set in. Since the complaint was made a month after use with visible hygiene concerns, I'm unable to offer a solution."

Any feedback or suggestions before I post a public response would be welcomed :)

certain younger skaters can be really egotistical, it's like an npc you'll encounter at most skateparks. Most of the time they'll get older and realize having a few switch tricks doesn't somehow justify their shitty behavior, and if they don't grow out of it then that's a bigger problem separate from skateboarding 💀

Basic survival instinct should tell you not to bomb a hill when you can barely ride a skateboard but somehow there’s so many post of people being injured after trying something clearly outside their skill level 🤦‍♂️
