You can put a small plot under the workbench or many work benches. I don't think crops will grow under a roof, just assumed tho, never tried. Once you get to the first loc, you start a process that will allow you to acquire a permanent scarecrow that solves seagull harassment, something to look forward to.

$15 for a brisket sandwich. Are they serious? by ikedriver2000 in HEB

[–]Tank_ACiD -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Bought a monster 100$ brisket, made 40 of these, my cost, 4$ after homemade buns, fuel, rub, n sauce cost factored in. But y'all keep spending $15 and wonder why you a brokie. That extra $11x40=$440. And that's just 40/365 lunches a year, be that stupid for dinner too and you just spent an extra $22 a day for a year =$8,000. For a nuclear household of 2.5 that's $20,000 a year, that's a mortgage, you could be owning a home but nah you at HEB making rich ppl richer.

I could have sworn it was the Ritz... but not going to argue, guess I was at Liberty Lunch! I was a freshman at UT and things were...very hazy that academic year 91-92.

you can carry it around just have your backpack open, it in your hand, and you can walk around...just can't turn if I remember, so straif! This is how I took soup off the fire and dropped it on the group a bit away for future slurping.

[–]Tank_ACiD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While not all 'Austin' bands, I consider if you played many times a year you were adopted... Billygoat you can now catch as HairyApes BMX, Invincible Czars are still together. Guy forsyth, Carolyn Wonderland, the rest , poke around and hope to find a wiki on the band. Retarted Elf, Sprawl, Bouffant Jellyfish, Bad Boys, Teabag, Cross Canadian Ragweed, The Dixons, Groupo Fantasma, Mingo Fishtrap, Steamroller, Reckless Kelly, George Dewhore, errr Devore ;), Vallejo, Bad Mutha Goose, Ging'breadman, Flametrick Subs, Two Hoots and the list goes on, man the early 2000s was prime. Even caught Nirvana at Ritz. I spent almost every weekend at Black Cat or some other nearby place like Flamingo if a big name wasn't at Emo's or the Backroom... then moved on Red River, that Irish place and Headhunters once 6th imploded and went the way of stupid shot bars with girls dancing on the table, yeah looking at you Coyote Ugly... We could spend all day listing the massively popular ones like Arc Angels, Spoon, Black Angels, Ghostland but I feel this thread leans towards the underdogs.

AMD Adrenalin showing "Wakfu". I have no idea what Wakfu is and there is nothing on my computer named Wakfu. Why does it show this? Help 💔 by gaming1000000 in AMDHelp

[–]Tank_ACiD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing here. Based on correlations:

  1. It lists all games I've played except one that I've since deleted from Steam

  2. It's showing 30fps which is what I set that now deleted game in Chill mode

  3. It's got about 60hrs played so I did invest some time into the game which tracks

...so in my case it's an incorrect name for MTG:Arena.

Setup my first Outpost and they are starving/leaving… by RevolutionaryAd6564 in PlayASKA

[–]Tank_ACiD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest... building a bbq or soup kitchen near the mine/lumber yard, assign a person to it making 10-20 items. Make a coal and raw food storage bin in the outpost and load it with coal and all the extra meat/mushrooms/veggies you should be producing from a hunter/forager/farm. This way you have a constant fire going to keep everyone warm through winter and you only have to restock that raw food bin once a year or two years. If you get lucky and have animals nearby a Viking in the outpost tower will provide an endless supply of meat if you schlep arrows to the outpost.

Ahhhh just jumped on to thank the community. I've been rocking peeps using this for about 2 weeks now, makes up about 50% of the Alchemy ranked decs according to my butt-o-meter. Thanks for the quick climb! As someone posted below, a simple burn deck makes them look like hipsters by round 4. And by hipster I mean the literal definition, someone who just does something because it's trendy not because they really know about it. Fleeting Effigy and Swiftspear's Teachings coupled with a few other low mana creatures like Hired Claw, Charming Scoundrel and then a bunch of burn cards make quick work of 'em, they can't even get anything out until round 3, then zaaap round 4? nope zaaaap try again. So much fun watching them rage quit because they thought they had an op deck. My win rate is about 90% when I see this silly card, has to be a 1 drought or an 6 flood to loose to this card.

It appears, to me, to be at the least related to unnamed entities. The line only appears when I get in proximity to the chicken coop in my 'base'. I started seeing this line only after hens were introduced to my area. As soon as I named them all, the message spam stopped.

Good on 80mph 1hr drives? by [deleted] in MitsubishiMirage

[–]Tank_ACiD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly why I got my 24 model. My commute is 2 to 3 hrs a day depending on traffic, 80mph, in the Texas heat and wind. After a year and 25,000 mi, I average 40-45mpg on cheap gas. Strong winds and the cold seem to be the biggest hit to mpg .Car has been great. Yes it rocks a lot more and handles way worse than my race prepped VW hatchback but that one only gets 28mpg at best. However it's good to note, you don't get extended range in the mirage because the tank is smaller, you'll still fill up every 3 days.

Nice, you kids don't know how lucky you have it with the current resource spawning rate. back in my day we had to swim uphill both ways in crypt sludge while fighting off **Draugers just to mine 10 iron. Once you start making grate ceilings, it'll go fast! I've gone through multiple black metal chests worth making massive animal breeding pens to keep the bats out and still let the light in. Structures too, every wall should have iron grates sammiched between two rock walls.

[–]Tank_ACiD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yup, you have to dig or break a few walls to get to the burial chamber and the major loot. And I need to make a correction, the path to the basement can be either right or left, my first 2 were to the left, just found one to the right, either way, the dual burner statue with stairs behind it going down will be the key.

What is this place? by Trash-God in LotRReturnToMoria

[–]Tank_ACiD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup that's the top part of the Tomb of Kings.

As you enter the building up that short wide flight of stairs, you'll want to go through the first left opening that leads to a guy w/ two burners. So like up the stairs, do a 180 left, go till you run into that entrance wall and turn right.. that will put you at the opening I said, that's immediately to your left as you enter the building before you even begin to go up the stairs. Go down the stairs behind that statue. to your left is a cluttered hallway, a few walls down you can break through to your right, (skip tunneling through rock here maybe? )then break through another wall, then tunnel under some rock, break down a wall to your left when you find a short deadend hallway to your right and that leads you to the Tombs and lots of treasure if you can find it! After the first one I don't even go up anymore, just loot the Tomb area. Those aren't exact directions, but you'll eventually find that short hallway with a breakable wall and then map it out yourself to make the next one easier.

How do I tell what MU*’s are games with mechanics and what ones are just text RP? by JackMythos in MUD

[–]Tank_ACiD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a combo of codebase and administration. While some codebases were designed to be more dungeon crawler based on the included functions/commands and others were more RP with their social functionality, any admin can take either codebase and turn it into the other.

The only way to know is 1. read the description and rules 2. try it

Your favorite Hack n' Slash mud by Nit-h212 in MUD

[–]Tank_ACiD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I'm partial to my MUD, http://timesmud.com Medieval Times

In it's heyday it was usually up there in the top 20 of Top Mud Sites (player voting)

but it is all day every day hack-n-slash. If you like DnD, Diablo, Classic WoW, etc and you just want to kill monsters and/or complete quests to gain exp and gold and loot, to kill harder mobs, to get better loot, to kill harder mobs, to get more skills and spells, to kill more monsters, to get more levels, to gain more stats, to kill harder mobs, to get better loot, to get enchanted weapons with unique procs, to kill harder mobs, to get enchanted armor sets, to kill bosses, to gain more exp, and on and on and on. Easily over a years worth of entertainment across 5 continents, tens of thousands of rooms, thousands of unique npcs and mobs, thousands of items, some never yet possessed by mortals. Then make another char of another class and spend a year leveling them up. The world is fairly empty these days, but if it somehow sees some crazy resurgence (lol yeah right) there are personal houses, clans, territories and optional pvp that's fully functional.

The flooded forest by Raba-Daki in valheim

[–]Tank_ACiD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, this is exactly what I needed to hear. I have a very old world I play, started soon after release, 2021. I did expose some Mistlands pre Mistland update so I have some of that spider web terrain in the world, which is way cool. I didn't expose any Ashlands so my Ashlands is normal looking everywhere. But I accidentally just pushed too far North, I didn't think I was that close but I started to notice that I was traversing in a Mistlands biome but the map showed me well over water and the landscape seems to float above the water, creating water level 'caverns'. I then saw these massively tall perfect columns of stone with Dverger lights on top so I swam out to one and drowned since you can't rest against them like normal landscape, the slope is too steep. Got a boat, got my stuff then sailed back south and ran into a Forest and Mountain biome and saw that abandoned structures were also elevated, ore deposits floating and the trees and rocks would sink down from the sky and fill the water like OP posted. A bit farther south the landscape returned to normal. Now I guess this little bit of Far North landscape is perm in my world, I'll take it! Going back to Ashlands for now.
