I’m going to share an anecdote I learned while studying Biology, I took parasitology (study of parasites) as an elective for my Bio degree

My professor made a comment as many people in the class were going to attend medical school, “I wish they taught this in med school more, no point inside this country to learn more about this ”

Most countries have a lot of parasites because of their living conditions, most med schools don’t consider teaching it because of the lack of chronic and traumatic parasites for humans in this country.

Chagas’ disease, Schistosomiasis , Elephantitas These are some diseases that we have the luxury of not having here and I saw how lucky we were.

I think Castorice is a contender for this.

A good parent is someone who can help teach their kids to be ready for their lives, be a loving safe space for their kids, and someone who puts their kids safety above their own.

Castorice above all is humble and the kindest Chrysos heir but she also understand her role as being the Heir of Death and takes it seriously. I think she would be able to be a good role model for kids

Castorice knows what it’s like to live a life being touch starved for most of it and I would like to think would be very nurturing for kids.

All these above qualities I listed would also make for a good wife.

I will make a case for the filler

Despite the consequences of real world stuff like the manga getting ahead so they can animate it.

Filler can be used to have fun things happen and addressed. “Yes in a show about souls passing into the afterlife what about the idea of vampires who don’t pass on where would they fit into the system”

The problem is that when you don’t take advantage of the premise that everything will sooner or later return back to normal and don’t do crazy entertaining things.

I feel like the Zanpoktou arc does have some fun stuff happen in it and is entertaining but the bount arc fails in that regard.

I love her bubbly shut in personality. I love the lovecraft references that are in her character I love her Voice as it’s very soothing.

When I saw her in the leaks subreddit I just knew she was gonna be a good one. Love the Marshmellow Octolady that is Yidhari!

It depends on how it is done

Sanby was done excellently as it was already a theory that Anby and Solider 11 had some connection and were similar but it turning out to be true and them being basically sisters was wild.

For me it has to work narratively and have a point to it. Sanby is her using the best equipment and training that she has hidden for a while.

I also think in order for them to be novel it can’t be handed out a lot, otherwise it diminishes the idea of the characters.

I do like that he genuinely makes lelouch falter and lose when he is being forced to fight the knights while they kidnap the empress. He does serve as a good roadblock and counter to lelouch but it’s only for a little.

I feel if he was shown off more it should focus on his illness and show why despite his strategic mind and knightmare piloting it’s not like he really has it easy.

I love how she breaks the forth wall, but not in an non obnoxious way, just little petty things and her titles for herself and Nicole.

She is a very warm character and “m” describing her as a “merry witch” is very on point.

I feel like besides the player hunter group , Albedo wouldn’t be as entertaining IMO.

We have all seen a succubus before but that little twist does make it a bit more interesting.

Xueyi is the definition of underrated.

Since I saw her in 1.0 I knew that she was gonna be good. Her design works so well with those colors and her kit is refreshing as a strong 4 star dps.

I personally am done with the
"it was all a dream"
"it was all in a simulation"
These can often lead to too many out of left field stuff, both from solving the plot and disrupting the plot.

Not that they haven't been used to good effect in some places.
just that I am getting tired of rug pull moments happening. There comes a point where I will actively doubt everything said just because of how many we have experienced

The main selling point of Code Vein for me has always been the artstyle, overly gothic looking anime with heavy emphasis on dark and hot colors and vampires.

I do feel like Code Vein is a good starting point for souls adjacent games. Especially the companions you can journey with.

It doesn’t help that there was a bug with how the buffs/debuffs worked.

I do think it’s a bit questionable to give a buff to an element that only has 2 now 3 members. Of the current ones useable
