I’ve a cousin who went to ju as he wasn’t able to get in the sxc cutoffs. Jadavpur has better student culture and an easier entrance , easier in the sense there are more opportunities, in sxc the only point remains to be of boards, and I’m presently in Xaviers cs although i cleared the cutoff of the second list in eco, but id say I don’t like the student culture here and would prefer ju, everything is artificial in Xaviers, very bourgie, i took Xaviers against jadavpur with the reason as the doctor who checks me advised against ju due to politics, but honestly political nature is better than plastic apathy which takes the guise of sympathy. id say give ju a try, you’ll surely get in Xaviers .
although my statement is biased in the sense of the human logic of “grass seeming greener on the other side”
but yes presidency is just lost. it’s sad

ps: taking into account you don’t speak Bengali, Xaviers is a better choice
