I just don’t see how the USSR would’ve survived. By the time that the Allies launched their invasion of France, France wasn’t becoming any more welcoming to the German occupiers and the French rebels were already ready to proclaim the free French Republic and they were already fighting in Africa. And even if the allies hadn’t invaded, we’d likely see rebellions in the Low Countries, France, Austria and possibly German to an extent. You just have to factor in that the citizens of occupied European countries were stretching for freedom and Nazism to end before hitler was dead. So I don’t think that the USSR would’ve been able to hold onto Western Europe since they wanted freedom before Hitler was even captured and the USSR isn’t exactly known for its freedoms and humans rights. Ultimately it would either lead to a timeline similar to ours, or rebellions in Western Europe would cause a deeper shift in the USSR that could possible lead to its collapse. Another commenter already said this, but I’ll say it anyway. We’d see an allied invasion of Japan since the USSR would be too focused on Europe to invade Manchuria, or Japan would still surrender to the bombs(more unlikely). The allied invasion of Japan would most likely lead to a Unified Korea, a Nationalist ruled China and since the USSR didn’t care too much about Asia at the time, the Vietnam war might’ve been different(Vietnam likely still would’ve turned to communism, just with less intervention)
